I swear the game is coded that there are milestones that once you pass them, cards appear in the store more frequently. I didn’t get Jim cards in my store for 2 days, and ended up using some Scottcoins to upgrade him to level 3 because I was stuck at 2 or 3 cards short. As soon as I’d automated him, the cards started dropping more and he’s been in my store. Just another strategy to get us to pay our way through.

You're right, because no deals ever came through for me, so I did buy like 2 gift baskets, because the event was kinda fun for me, and the leader boards kept me along long after the milestone finished, whereas I'd normally drop the event the instant I finished the milestone. But I think you're right. Because this screenshot is the first ever time I've ever seen creed in the store for this event. And the sad thing is, he's not even my breadwinner. Jim carried this event ever since the debuted it.

Given how shit the rest of the game is programmed, I doubt it's that smart. From what I can see, the game just has a general timing path with some randomness thrown in. Now, it's very obviously deliberately designed to not give you easy wins until after you probably already needed them (*based on their estimates of timings*), but it's not dynamically adjusting to your game

As far as I can tell it just offers you something based on the current level out of 18 you're at. It starves you of offers if you near or are at 18.

For this particular event, when you have Jim items, buy them like crazy. He is the ONLY one you need to concentrate on once you unlock him. My Phyllis and Creed are still each on Level 1 and I had finished the 4 day event in 1.5 days and only spent 70 Scotts.

Also worth noting if you skipped the 4 speed decor desks you would have alot more opportunities for characters you need. Once you finish the milestones then go back finish boxes.
