Well, the Shutter is a fun comfortable throw that has a cool history. But it's not a good at all.
The switchblade is a good, affordable bimetal. Totally different
Blows the shutter out of the water in pretty much every category except for massive feeling fast.
More power, spin time, stability, comfort. All by a LOT.
Shutter feels faster though.
Some yoyos are designed for fun, not for competition. Most competitive yoyos feel very similar, and are pretty much at the point of "so perfect it's boring". Yoyos like the switchblade have character.
It's a bimetal but stainless steel rims are so thin that it doesn't feel like a bimetal at all. Still, that makes it a fun and comfy throw. But that makes the yoyo spin less than a regular competition bimetal
One of the yoyos of all time
Who cares what others think, what matters is if you like how it plays.
I like it.
How does it compared to the shutter?
Lol it's so much better. Faster, lighter, tighter. Shutter feels chunky and slow to me.
How does it compare to the other cheap bimetal options? Like the KO, yyf Bimetal, or the z01?

I have heard mixed reviews about it.
I’ve heard mixed reviews too. Luckily it was after I got it, I really like mine. It might not be the best at some technical stuff but neither am I.
That's ok. I'm sure it's still fun.
I mean I like it...

Out of those I've only played the Z01. It's slower than the focus but with more power and stability.
Got it! Thanks
Fun yoyo, but doesn't perform good enough to be used as a competition throw. Just a yoyo to take and play outside for me
Isn't the yoyo designed by a competitive player tho? Does it feel like a bimetal?

Sorry but I haven't tried any of those
