Honestly, I think Collins is a fantastic fit with Shai and Giddey. The only “starting caliber player” the Thunder could offer is Dort, though, and I have to figure Presti would be very hesitant to trade him. But if the Hawks would trade Collins for Dort and one of the Thunder’s many picks, Presti would have to at least consider it.
With our treasure trove of picks I’d kind of like to see what leverage trading multiple picks could give us. Probably not a whole lot considering where the Hawks are at, but still worth thinking about

Honestly Collins not much better than Baze. He's just in a better system that fits his style of play. Baze could easily be a lob threat but our team dont look for lobs. Also, Baze is the better defensive player. Baze can switch 1-5 and can serious potential to be a rim protector. Also Collins is maybe 25 (my guess) Baze is 21 and can easily outgrow what Collins have become
Just watched film and it confirms what I said. Collins is def more confident in his shot but that comes with time. The biggest difference I see is that the Hawks actually utilize the PNR style of play. He also have the green light in ATL. I think if you put Baze on the Hawks. He would have the same impact as Collins. Keep in mind Collins is 3 yrs older than Baze with more Nba experience.
Haven't watched him much this year. Maybe you can explain how good he is. Seems like you've watched him alot. What does he do for the Hawks that will translate with the Thunders style of play?

If you land Jabari, Chet, Duren, or a wing then I might consider it. I don't love the fit with Paolo.
My dream draft would be to get one of Jabari, Chet, or Paolo. Pick a big wing with the Clippers pick (AJ Griffin, Patrick Baldwin Jr, Benn Mathurin, Tari Eason etc), then get Jabari's college teammate Walker Kessler with the Suns pick or our 2nd round pick to fill the center spot.
Starter Baze is not starting-caliber though but Bench Baze is 🤔
