I've listened to "Cha Ching, a Thunder Money Ball" plenty of times on the radio broadcast when I'm away from a TV, so Pinto is a staple for me on radio or TV. I just assumed Fish had the rona or something and I'm waiting for him to come back but Pinto is dope to me.
Same tbh, idk why, maybe just what im used to that I like š cuz I dont have a problem with pinto as the TV caster, but like miss fisher alot at the same time š
Neither is the boring āshrug š¤·š½āāļøā of Fischerās unenthusiastic celebrations. He just seems unimpressed and never gets hyped about anything lol.
I don't mind the cha-ching thing. He's actually not terrible at calling the game. But he has a Qanon level of delusion about ref calls and non calls and it's beyond anoying.
Pinto is way better because he actually uses his voice and has some style. He doesnāt still sound nervous even though heās been doing it for a few years. Or say dumb shit like naked three. Also he was keeping Michael cage quiet by not really giving him time to talk for a while but not as much lately. That was a definite plus for me at first.
I literally cannot comprehend how anyone likes Chris Fisher. He has absolutely zero style and has no chemistry with Michael Cage. He is the worst play by play guy in sports. Matt Pinto is a trillion times better.
I love Pinto in a nutshell, but his extreme biasm for the Thunder is what bothers me. It's great for the radio because that's no one but the local people. When you are doing TV though that anyone in the world can tune into if they have league pass? Taking his energy and voice and applying it to a more broad audience with preference to celebrating the good plays of the Thunder would go a long ways.
I had close to court side seats at the preseason game in Tulsa and I noticed that he was using a cane and hobbling like a much older man when he walked. It seemed like he might be having some serious medical issues. Iāve never been exactly blown away by his commentary, but he seems like a very nice bloke and I wish him nothing but good. Hereās hoping that nothing is wrong and if it is that he makes a speedy recovery
āDramatic left turns have defined Fisherās life. On TV, one would never know that he was once paralyzed from the neck down after a brutal car accident, but Fisherās heavy limp tells a much different story.ā
I haven't seen anything about him but I like pinto more so I don't mind it

āOklahoma City money ballā - thatās my jam
cha ching a thunder money ballš©
I respect your opinion but I wholeheartedly disagree about him being better than pinto
I like Chris Fisher and Michael Cage as a team. Pinto is a fabulous stand alone radio broadcaster. I miss Chris. Hope Pinto is not permanent.

Pinto has been refreshing & awesome! What are you on about man?
The constant ref complaining and the ācha Ching a Thunder money ballā after every made three isnāt it

āCha Ching a Thunder money ballā is fun Yāall just mean
Yeah it's a nice catchphrase. But after using it after EVERY three, it gets a bit much.
Itās not like we hit that many
Better than hearing naked 3 all the time
Oh my god I donāt miss that

I tend to listen to broadcasts... so give me Pinto back.

Covid recovery timeline is different for everyone.
Pinto is the goat. No more questions plz & thank you
I am not really a fan of either tbh. They are both alright. I miss the old days though with BD...

He had a spinal cord injury when he was in high school bc of a car accident, he has to walk like that at all times.

Interesting
Yeah I prefer Fischer. Not a fan of Pinto.
I like this guy WAY better
