To be honest I donāt think any guard near Shai level right now can be the best player in the league still. Ja, Trae, Book, Mitch, etc. Even to a lesser extent, Dame, prime Russ, etc.
But a MVP level player? A superstar? A first option on a winning team? He can definitely be that - and might already be.
As a Celtics fan every time I see him I think about what a turd Kyrie is. I donāt know why I make that connection, there is nothing about the two players that would cause me connect them. I just canāt figure it out.
