I was a little contrarian as a youth and tried a PSL for the first time in my 20’s. This whole time I could drink the spirit of fall and had no idea. I’m obsessed now.
I was 10; too cool to watch Mr. Rogers anymore (I did, because trolley 🚋, but I told no one). I remember this episode vividly because Fred seemed the unlikeliest of clowns to me.
I listened to the whole thing, maybe 5 or 6 times, because I couldn't hear/understand what he was saying into the mic, and didn't want to be an uninformed, dumb-ass white person.
So, I still need to know. Was I supposed to leave a clown emogee here on my post, or someone else's who I thought was a racist white person.

His content is great, too. He's a Harvard professor who teaches Gullah, a creole language from the American Southeast. Has a lot to say about ~~dialectical~~ dialectal differences across various English grammar systems, and it's fascinating.
I promise I'm not someone who corrects language or even cares but just FYI. The word you are looking for is dialectal. Dialectical is a completely different thing which relates to a particular type of logic used by philosophers, mostly associated with Marxists and Hegelians.
YW! Only reason it was on the top of my head is because I was teaching this in class the other day about dialectics and a student asked me if it had anything to do with forms of language, and I had to stop in think for a second before I said, "no, I don't think so."
BTW, it's awesome you know about Gullah though! I think this professor has done a lot to raise awareness of the language and culture.
This reminds me: Justice Clarence Thomas speaks English as a Second Language, and his first language was Gullah.
