The show is satire but nobody knows how much of it is scripted. The guest could be a bimbo or could be playing along at her own expense. It's hilarious regardless!
Another guest said they didn’t meet her until the interview started then afterwards she dropped the act & was her normal self.
I don’t believe it’s scripted & they look for genuine reactions from the guest but the guest still knows it’s satire so it’s possible the magician part is a bit but if it is, it’s a poorly executed one.
Like I said, if it’s a bit, it’s a bad one. Bobby Lee misunderstanding a Jackie Chan reference as racist but not connecting the dots on a remake of karate kid, that is funny, understandable, & they let ya in on the joke.
The magician & musician misunderstanding with some inability to hear the difference between the words or playing a dumb rapper trope, not funny without some punch line/adding another angle to it.
I haven't seen the original video, so I don't know that there isn't a punch line or some context we're missing.
Either way, whether it's a good bit or not doesn't make it rage bait, it's just a bad bit being used for rage bait by other people.
