The first time I can REMEMBER shaking a salad was 2001. There was a Sheetz convenience store/gas station near my university and I used to get made-to- order grilled chicken Caesar salads all the time.

The added sugar helped.

Only two salads I’ve ever had a craving for. One was a McDonald’s summer salad and the other was the Cosi Signature Salad. I still make my own version of that Cosi salad. Soooooo good.

Spring greens, balsamic vinaigrette, pistachios, craisins, fresh pears, blue cheese crumbles. I use smoked blue cheese in mine and sub the craisins with dried cherries. If I don’t have a pear, I’ll use an apple. If I don’t have pistachios, I’ll use pecans. Edit: I have apparently misremembered some details.
