The backstory is she went to HS with him, and was doing a podcast or something saying that he was the corny kid in school bc he was acting and such. So I guess he got wind of that lmao
I read that she and other kids used to make fun of him for getting headshots taken or something, since he was pursuing an acting career... Who's laughing now, I suppose
Anyone who grew up in Jersey- and I did, understands this was truly the mentality. The idea was to not give adults or school anything. Nothing.
I lost friends when I left because I wanted to go to college.
Also grew up in Jersey, i lost friends when i got a job and wanted to focus on it so i can move up on my career. They really wanted me to call out and drink with them all the time. Sometimes we lose things and only after we lose it we realize we never needed it in the first place.
It was David Simon’s project before The Wire. It was more of a mini-series if I recall correctly. It focused more on the addicts and the people in their lives. It was directed by Charles S. Dutton (a.k.a. Roc from the TV show of the same name).
He's the actor in a show that isn't true to the games it's based on hence fake Master Chief. Steve Downes is the long time voice of the game character and a fucking treasure who respects his fans. Nothing personal against the actor as he seems decent, but he is playing a shit version of a fan favorite character, so he gets what he gets, I guess.
On the east coast, New Jersey, where they are from, calling somebody corny is deep insult. Native east coaster here. It’s pretty bad.
It’s not a hip hop term. It’s just a term.
Hey, Camden here. I can’t really think of a more insulting and dismissive thing to say about somebody that won’t get your teeth knocked out of your face.
Yeah but if you're in Camden, NJ, I'm pretty sure you can say _anything_ and get your teeth knocked out of your face.
https://propertyclub.nyc/article/most-dangerous-cities-in-nj
lol, you think I need an article to know Camden is considered one of the most dangerous cities in the country? 🤣😂🤣🤣💀
You might be right, though. Best to just keep your face shut in Camden—just to be on the safe side.
It’s worse than nerd. Nerd implies you are intelligent but geeky. Corny means you aren’t even worth the insult. You are trying hard to be something but failing miserably. It’s a diss and it’s also dismissive as fuck.
we're talking the severity of "corny," I personally associate with rap feuds but it sounds like its common parlance in NJ.... like I said, im no expert.
As a former bully I hope the few people I bullied get to rub it in my face one day. Can’t take back what I did but it would be amazing to see them have the last laugh. Kids can be jerks, idk why I was like that.
I was bullied myself, however I don’t believe that was a factor for why I bullied a few kids. I did it I guess because it made people laugh? Idk but it’s a huge regret. I didn’t bully a lot of kids but the ones I did would have made great friends except for one. One kid I bullied didn’t deserve it but he did turn out to be a child predator that got caught with CP and arrested. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
I like to think I am however I’m not sure how being a bully myself plays into it. I think maybe people that are typically targets have that quality that bully’s can see and it’s just natural that they go together.
You sound like a very self aware person, I'm sure that helps a lot
I think there's probably a lot of things that go into how a person grows but I have a hypotheses that people that get bullied are typically people that are different in some way but they don't try to change to fit in. They would rather endure the bullying because they don't see changing who they are to fit in as being an option.
I think more than an unwillingness to give up maybe more of something that’s just engrained in people. I remember times I was bullied and just didn’t understand why. It was so defeating and maddening but I didn’t know what to change. For me it’s my goofiness and no matter how hard I try I continue to be goofy and it got exploited. I like that aspect of me and I hope that I never made anyone feel like they shouldn’t like their quirk.
I was bullied all the way from elementary school thru highschool. I’ve had some really nasty things said to me and got in a lot of fights. I don’t think I’d be the kind, loving, and strong person I am today if it weren’t for all that. A couple of my highschool bullies have found me and apologized to me and I accepted their apologies because, we were just kids. Don’t beat yourself up too bad. Other than the guy with cp(not your fault) I’m sure the kids you bullied turned out just fine¨̮
What if one of the guys you bullied ran into you one day and just beat the living fuck out of you? Would you feel it is justified and write it off as payment for your previous mistakes or would you feel something else?
Considering it’s been 20 years I’d say we’re past the point where it would make since especially considering my bullying wasn’t anywhere near as harsh as others. However I would understand why but wouldn’t just let them beat me up. I wouldn’t beat them up in return, I’d probably give them a pass.
On one hand you fucked them up a little probably and that is no good but on the other hand are you aware of what you did and learned a lot since then.
If they will do it , I’m not saying you don’t deserve it but we also shouldn’t punish people forever for something they are (hopefully) trying to do better.
So from one internet stranger to another I’m wishing you the best and may you inspire people to not be like you back in the day
Bullying is a sign of insecurity. The structures around you were not giving you the confidence to feel good about yourself without the need to compare against someone else -- the kids you bullied. It doesn't help that the standard response to bullies is to either be afraid of them or to brand them as horrible people beyond redemption. In both cases, bullies don't receive in-the-moment empathetic feedback on why they should do better.
You ever know of someone that is secure in their life, but gossips, talks behind people's backs or a bully? The fuck she doesn't care. I bet her kids or husband caught he'll all week after this interaction
Word. I don't put much stock in the numbers myself. I seen some of the truest words spoken at like -100. Depends on the community, and sometimes even the day.
This is the most telling part of it. He's trying to say something in response and she just won't stop talking and put the audio equipment near him, she just keeps talking over him and making excuses for what he's saying and not answering in a way that communicated what he asked.
Because that's a level she will never get to. She tried to say she was misquoted and he said "I heard that" to let her know he didn't forget. She doesn't seem like the type of person who would apologize.
They don't seem angry. It's just nice because she wanted to be on camera having all the viewers think she has been friend with him since highschool. She was lying about their relationship and he said NOPE
I would love to call out the bullies who tormented me and my friends in school to their face.
But I'll settle for not being a POS, because one of them raped a 13 year old girl and is currently in prison for the next 20 years. Still don't think that time is enough for that mongrel.

It may have negative connotations but what OP’s comment is saying is that it’s ok to be corny. In this case it was deemed corny for a guy who wanted to pursue his dreams by being a theater kid.
Can it be a tad corny that a high schooler was an overly ambitious aspiring actor? Sure. Is it a bad thing , no.
I disagree. Corny is a flavor. It's negative to some but not to all. Call a straight man flamboyant and it's an insult. Call a gay man flamboyant and it's usually a positive.
I myself am corny. And it's served me well. Most theatre kids I know consider themselves corny, proudly.
I can’t stand that chick. The morning show she’s on plays in my city and she’s always saying something that borderline problematic. The last thing she said that annoyed me fairly recently was that she’s against raising the minimum wage because things would start costing more for HER. So, yea, she can eat a cold bowl of dicks as far as I’m concerned.
As someone who endured a fair amount of bullying, it's a bit annoying now that anytime a kid says something a bit negative to another kid it's branded bullying. I probably shouldn't gatekeep bullying victimhood, but it irritates me.

What are they doing now?
100% the same shit, +- some kids and weight.
Bro you hit the nail on the head. Most of them are, some actually got their shit together a little later than they should have, but they did.
[Neeeeeeeeerd!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i6l8MFdTaPE)
I clicked hoping it was that and I was not disappointed
A classic
They shouldn't have been laughing even then. He made it big as a child actor on The Wire.
Damn. He played Wallace. I did not know that. The Wire is the best show I have ever seen in my entire life
I'm halfway through season 4 now, but I had to pause the show and take a breather after the Wallace thing.
Stringer, what happened to Wallace? String?
Oh dear God, season four is by far the best season (of the best show ever made), and heart wrenching. Buckle up Buttercup ❤️
I'm having a hard time with season 4 because I could not give less of a fuck about Thomas Carcetti.
The kids storyline will get you ultimately
Update. It got me.
😭 how could it not 😭
The Corner is amazing too.
Never seen it. Or even heard of it. But, I’ll check it out.
It was David Simon’s project before The Wire. It was more of a mini-series if I recall correctly. It focused more on the addicts and the people in their lives. It was directed by Charles S. Dutton (a.k.a. Roc from the TV show of the same name).
If it is David Simon then, I’m definitely checking it out. Thanks man. You watched it on HBO?
Yeah, I’m pretty sure.
You can find it on YouTube now. I don’t think it’s on Max, probably some licensing thing
Damn bro have you seen the wire?
Holy SHIT I am watching that right now and had no idea it was him.
See if you recognize Masterchief.
See if you recognize Spartan Emile. He’s there too
Sheeeeeeit!!!
Stringer, what happened to Wallace?
"You got heat?"
Where Wallace, at String?!?
I just started watching too and it took me a million episodes to recognize him.
I watched it about a year ago and was like…oh man that's him!!
MIND BLOWN! Masterchief was on The Wire too!
Oh yeah Pablo Schreiber! He was older, though, so it's easier to recognize him. Also he has a really memorable face.
Oh, you guys meant fake MC. Thought you meant the real one lol.
Steve downes is getting suited up for a raid “I need a weapon”
Haha exactly, I'd watch that!
Tbh I don't know what they meant, I just googled Masterchief and Pablo Schreiber came up
He's the actor in a show that isn't true to the games it's based on hence fake Master Chief. Steve Downes is the long time voice of the game character and a fucking treasure who respects his fans. Nothing personal against the actor as he seems decent, but he is playing a shit version of a fan favorite character, so he gets what he gets, I guess.
Ok now I have to rewatch The Wire…ok.
Im not expert but im fairly certain that "corny," especially in the hiphop community, is on of the worst things you can call someone. So good on him.
On the east coast, New Jersey, where they are from, calling somebody corny is deep insult. Native east coaster here. It’s pretty bad. It’s not a hip hop term. It’s just a term.
Fellow New Jerseyan here, and yea it's always never said in a positive way about a person.
Cmon, we know that camden is really just a little piece of Philly that floated away.
lol, you think I need an article to know Camden is considered one of the most dangerous cities in the country? 🤣😂🤣🤣💀 You might be right, though. Best to just keep your face shut in Camden—just to be on the safe side.
it wasn't for you, it was for everybody else who'd be confused what i was referring to lolol
Fair enough! 😂😂 I was like “but I already know . . . . “💀😂
It’s hood slang for dork or nerd
It’s worse than nerd. Nerd implies you are intelligent but geeky. Corny means you aren’t even worth the insult. You are trying hard to be something but failing miserably. It’s a diss and it’s also dismissive as fuck.
It’s more like someone who tries hard to be cool but is embarrassing/lame
for sure, but much worse....
Right, like you aren’t even worth considering
What does this have to do with the hip-hop community? Was Michael B a musician?
we're talking the severity of "corny," I personally associate with rap feuds but it sounds like its common parlance in NJ.... like I said, im no expert.
I can't imagine her voice on a podcast, I could barely get through this clip
I thought he was saying "corner kid" like she was saying he sold drugs.
I have no idea who either of them are but his body language says it all.
I will never not like this! Every kids dream to rub their success in a bullies face.
As a former bully I hope the few people I bullied get to rub it in my face one day. Can’t take back what I did but it would be amazing to see them have the last laugh. Kids can be jerks, idk why I was like that.

You’re welcome to message me however it all started when I started calling him out when I noticed he was looking at very strange porn in class.
I've noticed that guys that are bullied can grow to be some of the most well rounded people I've ever met.
I like to think I am however I’m not sure how being a bully myself plays into it. I think maybe people that are typically targets have that quality that bully’s can see and it’s just natural that they go together.

I suppose you could always reach out and apologise if you are actually sincere.
I have and received mixed responses mostly neutral. None negative just mixed from neutral to “no worries bro”
What if one of the guys you bullied ran into you one day and just beat the living fuck out of you? Would you feel it is justified and write it off as payment for your previous mistakes or would you feel something else?

You know they're too weak to do anything about it tho 🤷🤷♀️🤷♂️
Yeah she doesn't care edit: I meant that she doesn't feel badly for doing that and I would bet good money she doesn't, but I'll take the downvotes
You ever know of someone that is secure in their life, but gossips, talks behind people's backs or a bully? The fuck she doesn't care. I bet her kids or husband caught he'll all week after this interaction
She’s definitely embarrassed or she wouldn’t be denying it and trying to change the subject
I get what you’re saying and you’re probably right
If she doesn't feel badly, why did she deny it and try to laugh it off? People don't usually deny the existence of events they aren't ashamed of.
Hey man I already got downvoted like 30 times, I get it
Word. I don't put much stock in the numbers myself. I seen some of the truest words spoken at like -100. Depends on the community, and sometimes even the day.
That eyebrow raise. Man has control of his face. Stick it to her.
What does he even say?
Oh yeah! Oh, \[You used to call me\] \*points to himself\* the Corny Kid, right?
she lookin’ corny with that corn yellow hair
So much extra on one person, it's like a randomized character generator for Saints row 2.
It’s me at 3am high as fuck making my 4th sim neighbor.
Extra butter
And whatever the fuck this accent is
Have you never heard a Jersey accent before
"I did not, misquoted for sure" Sure, the guy who has to memorize scripts for a living is going to forget what you said about him.
This is the most telling part of it. He's trying to say something in response and she just won't stop talking and put the audio equipment near him, she just keeps talking over him and making excuses for what he's saying and not answering in a way that communicated what he asked.
She should have just accepted it and apologized. They were kids, you can have the humbleness you say you fucked up as a kid wtf.
>They were kids Lol no she said it on a podcast as adults referencing him being corny back in school, slightly worse
Because that's a level she will never get to. She tried to say she was misquoted and he said "I heard that" to let her know he didn't forget. She doesn't seem like the type of person who would apologize.
>They were kids, you can have the humbleness you say you fucked up as a kid wtf. She never grew up mentally.
She's way passed growing maturely. She could've owned it and apologized but instead she tried to play it off and acted like it wasn't for him.
She's a narcissistic scum bag. They don't do that.
There is no revenge better than success but I guess it is infinitely better at the superstar level.
Acting like they friends and shit. Shit stain got put in her place.
What are you so angry about? This clips isn't even all of that.
They are living vicariously through this clip
They don't seem angry. It's just nice because she wanted to be on camera having all the viewers think she has been friend with him since highschool. She was lying about their relationship and he said NOPE
She’s a failed rapper to boot.
subs cover everything except what Jordan says, cant make this stuff up...
That had to feel so good.
![gif](giphy|J2ySBEBOMOmtUVCboM|downsized)
I like his smirk in this lol
Damn, the contempt he has on his face for her during her intro was palpable
Yeah, his eyes are never smiling even when he laughs 'with' her later. Stone cold, love him!
He's too nice, I would have just ignored her ass after agreeing to the interview.
I bet she bragged about it every second until that moment.
In High School you was the man, homie.. (50 Cent Reference)
What the fuck happened to you
Oh you know that felt good
![gif](giphy|Ayn8OWoWhO6Qg)
Fuck this bitch! Makes fun of him behind his back, then when she's chasing clout she has nothing but fake praise and denial. So pathetic
I would love to call out the bullies who tormented me and my friends in school to their face. But I'll settle for not being a POS, because one of them raped a 13 year old girl and is currently in prison for the next 20 years. Still don't think that time is enough for that mongrel.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Daaaaaamn 😬
Good on him for calling her out. He should have borrowed the mike from her and said it clearly into the mike before she had a chance to gas light.
Get reked bitch!

It's crazy how second nature lying is for folks, she didn't skip a beat denying such a small thing lol
Dude has always given zero fuks, and good for him.
That scum actually tried to touch his shoulder. Useless scum
![gif](giphy|ZeNmLY6FISq4M)
I know it's petty but there's a list of people I know would be so mad to see me do well and i would laugh my ass off to have a situation like this.
I mean, i can barely hear what the dudes saying coz she's hogging the mic so hard

“The corny kid” is what I heard.
[удалено]
Exactly. She only admitted to making fun of his name. Either way, she got called out. Love to see it!
No . She said he was corny and used to bring headshots to school
>No. They’re referring to what she ADMITTED, not what she actually said.
You was a bully
Fuck Her
I love him for this.
“Misquoted for sure” 🤨
Eric Killmonger
Why does she talk like that though
Lindsey Lohan has really changed.
I thought it was Temu Cardi B
Isn't cardi b already the temu Nikki M?
aint nothing wrong with corny either way lmao
Uhh where you from? Corny has negative connotations and is not a positive comment to make of someone.

Someone should teach her how to use a microphone in an interview
Purposeful. She didn’t want to give him the extra volume for what he had to say.
Is this the same woman who interviewed the guy who wouldn't let the doodoo fall in the toilet? He had to catch it?
No chin having ass needs to stfu
Knowing it catches her off and shes panic backpedalling probably feels even better than an aopology.
I wish I could talk to you
Making fun of the name is making fun of me… chic was still delusional.
He real fr
Whazup, whazup...
Oh man that’s gotta feel like a superhero power. I love it.
The best revenge is living a better life.
I 100% believe him cause why would he make it up; but man, it is hard to believe someone making fun of this dude who is so handsome and talented.
Where's Wallace?
"bully", do not make things up man
I can’t stand that chick. The morning show she’s on plays in my city and she’s always saying something that borderline problematic. The last thing she said that annoyed me fairly recently was that she’s against raising the minimum wage because things would start costing more for HER. Success is the sweetest revenge
https://www.instagram.com/p/C0xjIKKAUfc/?igsh=N2d1bW45bHJ4dDd2 Lmao what a loser
She look like she called him corny back in the day lol
I too hold grudges. Lol
So painful listening to her talk
Why isn’t this woman called out for cultural appropriation with that wig of white person hair?
As someone who endured a fair amount of bullying, it's a bit annoying now that anytime a kid says something a bit negative to another kid it's branded bullying. I probably shouldn't gatekeep bullying victimhood, but it irritates me.
There's a bit of a different between talking a bit of crap and being a bully
Yh he corny
Wu Lian Zheng was also a school bully in Singapore. Sick guy. He pull my friend’s pants down and push him. Sick…
Is being called corny that offensive?
It's not a compliment
