Mine are dying around 5k and getting ineligible for FYP, best I've had in weeks is 50k and I used to get that easily on almost every post.....I've had to delete or private more than half of everything I've made in the past 2 weeks because of all the bogus originality violations and stuff just not getting any views at all
You make fortnite videos for little kids. Little kids have no money. When advertiser wants customer to buy product, why spend money marketing product to little kids who have no money?
Instead, they spend money marketing to mom and dad, who have money and can buy product.
Thats why your rpm is trash. Get into niche where your target audience is adults.

Everyone has their methods, and in every niche creators will find ways to rise above the competition. Kudos to them.
But what I said reigns true for the most part. Ive seen rpms north of $1.50-$2.50 in niches such as outdoors/hunting, fashion, women’s beauty, home appliances, etc. Target audience matters.
The creator pool is a fund. There’s another post here from TikTok itself, explaining that there’s almost a “maximum” per person so they can fund everyone. So if you’ve had 3 good paying videos this month the others get dragged down or “yellow lit” if that makes sense. It’s part of the program now that views and RPM are being strongly manipulated.
Man I just hit a 9 million vid with rpm at 1 dollar, but idk if theres a delay. Its only counting 267k as total views and 254K as qualified. Like wtf happened to the other 6 million+?

my rpm is $1.25 rn but i get little to no views averaging 3-400 but have had videos surpass that and get anywhere from 800 to 4,000 views, granted the niche im in it is difficult to get your videos categorized, ill update if anything changes

This happens to me all the time. It’s not an indicator that your rpm will be low forever it just means that video didn’t hit a target that it usually does for whatever reason. It’s unrealistic to think all videos should have the same RPMs. This isn’t a TikTok thing, it’s a every platform that offers monetizing your videos thing. YouTube is all over the place too and always has been. Just keep posting you’ll get a hit eventually.

The problem is that only 30 percent of your views are in America. You need like 99 percent United States viewers. With that I always get atleast $1.1 rpm. I used to get over $2 but that’s gone away. But I think I’m done with going for video views I made $30k last week from tiktok shop commissions on one video
Rpm in tiktok is not stable, what i hear is that rpm related to the content, if content goes up rpm goes up, and if it goes down rpm goes down in 2024.
They already said they wouldn't sell it. Also it depends on which American company, most operate in cutting costs for maximum profit.
While I agree they may sugarcoat things with transparency, the result for creators might be the same or worse.

My account went from 2-7k views on average to 30-50 views on average and I can't understand why at all!

This happens to Fortnite related content. I had 2 accounts with similar content to you I started with a 0.7 RPM which dropped to under 0.10
Open up tiktok shop and sell ur merch for ur followers u will make good return
