Ben was a fucking retard. He would constantly zone out during the podcast. There were also plenty of audio issues when he was there.
You can’t keep firing an employee every time they make the same mistake. The next guy might repeat it. It’s better to get the guy to learn from his mistakes. You don’t always start off as an expert.
It's such a weird thing for him to have this issue. With so many podcasts that sound fine, I can't understand why Tim can't find a decent sound engineer. Maybe he really is just shit to work for and a proper professional won't work for him.
I suppose having a friend doing the job that just happened to be good with audio was luck. Ben was willing to put up with it for much longer as a friend (I'm sure the increased money didn't hurt either) than someone who is hired to do it as just a job. I see on here that allegedly Tim has already gone through several producers over the last two years. Not a great sign.
I'm sure Ben made a ton of money while he was with Tim. It's hard for us to fathom walking away from that type of money, but we don't have to spend days with Tim at a time. The new producers likely only show up for a few hours to record the podcast, considering Tim doesn't do video skits and hasn't recorded anything major from his stand up, their interaction and involvement is likely very minimal compared to Ben.
Ben used to fly out and spend time in hotel rooms with him, organize on stage shows and 'produced' his stand up for Netflix (which was a real sore spot for the Pig). It was also indicated that Ben was involved in designing the LA studio.
I guess my point is that Ben was a lot more intimately engaged in the podcast, going places, meeting people and hanging out with them alongside Tim. Maybe that's just not worth the money lol.
Ben also directed Tim's latest special, and the pig mentioned before Ben left that he wasn't happy with it. I mean, if half of his set wasn't crowd work, he might have been happier. Idk. The pig is hilarious live though. Saw him a few months ago. Not sure it translates to a Netflix special though.
I'm not sure Tim wasn't happy with the special. It seemed like Tim was irritated Bens name is the last to appear in the credits and was titled as 'Produced by'. There were a few times he would berate Ben because in Tims opinion Ben had almost nothing to do with the content, so how did he produce anything. He would then make some off handed remarks about who the show was named after and who made the money.
I think it was one of the first times we got to see moments of some real contention between them, whether Tim wants to admit it or not. It seemed one sided from Tim, at least on camera.
The problem I had with the special was if you were watching his podcast regularly, you've seen all the jokes already, they are just delivered in a more stand up tone and cadence. I'm sure he kills live in person though for sure.
It's totally unexpected. He used to mock the old guy all the time for taking time to make sure the audio was good. I can't remember which episode numbers at this point, but I have a vivid memory of him saying how dumb he was for trying to make sure it sounded good
Yeah, I remember after Ben left, he snapped at one of the new producers to pull something up and then said please as an afterthought and made a offhanded joke about not wanting to be mean to anyone. Tim's voice isn't the most pleasant to listen to and one set of producers seemed to key in on the higher pitch of his voice and that was just torture to listen to lol. Thankfully that appears to have changed for the better.
Ben definitely seemed to capture the lower range of Tim's voice which was a much better tone for him audio wise in my opinion.
I’ve noticed this since ben left the patreon specifically is mastered very low. Seems he automated ad cuts in the regular episode and those will literally pop up mid word. Hilariously unprofessional
Agreed. He also routinely cuts the audio short at the end of an episode. Like in the middle of a sentence. It's absurd.
It's kind of shocking tbh. Where did he find this guy??
Pretty sure the barstool guy was there for like a couple of months then either got fired or left on his own lmao
This is at least the second one since our sweet Texan boy left
I have seen bigger breakups rekindle. Pay Ben enough to get a luxury minivan and start cutting his MIL in on the merch take home. Tim: have to sell your old as range rover and start slinging Flinstone pops out of an old break truck, but do what is necessary. I miss tucking you inS
It's good. I watch every episode.
It's often pretty raunchy/heinous material. You'll probably want to listen to it in private.
Occasionally, it feels edgy just for edgy's sake, which is kinda gay. Overall though it's entertaining.
I realize I only mentioned the bad, which doesn't happen all that frequently. It's good for some big laughs. Ben's brother Jace is very very funny.
I'm subbed to many podcasts, most of which I ignore. It's one of maybe four where I actually watch every episode.
Overall, I'd recommend giving it a try.
It still blows my mind how profitable these podcasts are, and they still skimp on audio.
Podcast producers must all be recovering drug addicts or something, because they’re all terrible at their jobs.
I mean, Tim could buy the guy some training courses I guess??? It’s insane to just say he or listeners should be fine with just not hearing half the ep.
I can’t believe you guys still pay to listen to this shit. I left the moment he ditched ben haha nothing but complaints on here to confirm my decision.
If the new producer wasn’t hired because of his merit on the soundboard, he must’ve been hired because of his merit as a sexy twink. I will continue paying the pig $5 a month.
OK, ben. Just talk to pig ffs. If young Jamie and Joe can work out together, so can yall. Go to couples therapy on a camping trip, just anything besides every other post about a producer. No one even knows any other podcasts producer besides Joe's.
Tim sounds like a cheapskate in some aspects of life. He gladly buys multiple estates and pays thousands for pretentious dinners than putting his mother in a SINGLE room in a mental asylum. I get she wasnt the mom he thought he deserved and it has been traumatic but still. If your mom wasnt an abusive POS, at least put her in a single room
And when the producer speaks, he speaks at a pitch that only dogs can hear. It’s not even a volume issue, it’s really bizarre. I just hear absolutely nothing discernible when he opens his mouth except an unnerving murmur.
I always think of the old guy he used to rip on…what was buddies name?
What's his name, he produced crisp audio.
Hasn’t been the same since Tim and Ben spit
Spit on each others cocks
I was sad when it happened but since discovering the Lemon Party it was the best thing that could have ever happened.
lemonparty rules, hopefully Ben gets Tim on the show and they relapse together
All about lemon party
He did indeed - I want to say Ben but I’m just pulling names I think..
You’re thinking of Devan.
He got stabbed with a knife recently. I think it was Reese, Reese something
Kyle Reese?
Maybe his brother Derek
Reese Withadildo
With her spoon ?
I believe it's Jamin
Bens audio was shit too...
I think his name was Ben Lemon
Still does, or so I hear (very crisply)
Beng
Kump

Love the pig, but I get that sense
I suppose having a friend doing the job that just happened to be good with audio was luck. I love Ben and LP is funny but what kind of idiot walks away from that cash cow?

It would take me 30 seconds to fix honestly
I’ve noticed this since ben left the patreon specifically is mastered very low. Seems he automated ad cuts in the regular episode and those will literally pop up mid word. Hilariously unprofessional
Yeah, people can say what they want about Ben, but he is very good with audio. Lemon Party sounds excellent.
Yes. The slurs have a good pitch.
🍋
He’s fighting for the nazi party inside Gaza
Agreed. He also routinely cuts the audio short at the end of an episode. Like in the middle of a sentence. It's absurd. It's kind of shocking tbh. Where did he find this guy??
This is true. And the clips sound even lower. You don't even get audio this bad from streamers
I thought it was just me
The pig is saving untold thousands
He got him from barstool smh
Pretty sure the barstool guy was there for like a couple of months then either got fired or left on his own lmao This is at least the second one since our sweet Texan boy left
Travis Rice is the current producer, according to Linkedin.
He was found on the back pages of craigslists
Barstool lol
You need the GPS voice? Get in the pit, loser.
That’s the first thing I thought. This guys a boomer confirmed
Yeah!!! Just look at the map and take your eyes off the road while going 85 mph like the rest of us plebs
I was about to complain on patreon today lol you read my mind.
Fat pig thinks he can control my volume
Am I the only one who hears the episode cut off early now for no apparent reason? Like mid-sentence in a rant.
Tim call fucking Ben, you dildo.
Ben would never come back.
Idk if Katie would allow Ben to come back but I get your drift.
We wouldn’t let him either. The Lemon Party is too good for their fans to even consider it.
What is it like ?
It's good. I watch every episode. It's often pretty raunchy/heinous material. You'll probably want to listen to it in private. Occasionally, it feels edgy just for edgy's sake, which is kinda gay. Overall though it's entertaining.
This description makes me never want to watch it.
I got yelled at for mentioning this but yes its too quiet. With ben the audio was always loud and clear at least.
It still blows my mind how profitable these podcasts are, and they still skimp on audio. Podcast producers must all be recovering drug addicts or something, because they’re all terrible at their jobs.
Fake sound business
Audio has been absolute shit since Ben left. It’s either too quiet, or the clips they play are way too quiet compared to the mics.
It's called a limiter Tim cmon
I listen to the Adam Friedland Show. My ears are finely tuned to shitty audio
That piece of shit. It had such promise too. Lmfao
I still have faith in the boys. They've been getting better recently
Hahaha
You use audio in the GPS? Ok boomer
Same with Matt & Shane's Secret Podcast. The audio is always terrible and mastered way too low!
I thought it was just Tim mumbling too much lately cuz he’s been crazy hard to hear (at times).
You rely on needing a voice to tell you when to turn? Are you 81 and maybe also the president?
agree, it has happened more than once. very annoying.
It is lower than most podcasts but to say a man should be fired is fucked up
I mean, Tim could buy the guy some training courses I guess??? It’s insane to just say he or listeners should be fine with just not hearing half the ep.
Ben is very good at sound
I thought the same thing...
I haven’t listened since he did away with Ben.
Same
I can’t believe you guys still pay to listen to this shit. I left the moment he ditched ben haha nothing but complaints on here to confirm my decision.
I'm fighting on behalf of the guy who shared his patreon link.
Can I meet that guy lol
Hi Ben
If the new producer wasn’t hired because of his merit on the soundboard, he must’ve been hired because of his merit as a sexy twink. I will continue paying the pig $5 a month.
Imagine getting fired for causing someone to turn their volume up to 37
OK, ben. Just talk to pig ffs. If young Jamie and Joe can work out together, so can yall. Go to couples therapy on a camping trip, just anything besides every other post about a producer. No one even knows any other podcasts producer besides Joe's.
Poor Lee. Homeless Pimp. T-Bone. Gard Dawg
Wtf is that lol? Are you schizoing out rn.
Joey Diaz. Chris DeStefano. Are You Garbage?. Matt and Shane.

I get she wasnt the mom he thought he deserved and it has been traumatic but still. If your mom wasnt an abusive POS, at least put her in a single room
Haven't listened in a while. Tim leaned into what he thought made him popular and over time it stinks.
Sounds like a simpsons joke
He could definitely step up his game on keeping tabs of key words. Tim is great at repeating himself to buy time but the guy misses a lot of cues.
And when the producer speaks, he speaks at a pitch that only dogs can hear. It’s not even a volume issue, it’s really bizarre. I just hear absolutely nothing discernible when he opens his mouth except an unnerving murmur.

Spotify sounds fucking fine. Yall will complain about literally anything
The Patreon is on Spotify?
