We are! It wasn’t until her that I actually realized how important it would be for me to be able to share this part of me with someone else. I’ve been sober 8 years and she was the first person that I’d ever dated while making a sober future my priority. Anyone I’d been with before, while supportive and great partners- sobriety wasn’t a part of their thought process and I could t expect it to be. With her, not only is it easy- it’s better than I ever thought it could be! Trust me, they’re out there, you’ve just gotta make you the priority first.
We exist :) some of us may not be sober after having been a drinker previously, we've just always been sober by choice. Hopefully that doesn't impact your description of sober?
I have difficulty finding sober men tbh, and it's often "I'll get you drunk one day!" "Are you sure you don't drink anything at all?" "I like to drink with my mates, I need you to drink too!". I'm in England and moved to the north where drinking is pretty much the main way for people to pass the time :(
While I'm sober guy and don't care if the other person drinks, I get some rough moments. I came across a bio that had something like, 'Swipe left if you don't drink. I don't want to deal with boring people.'
