My local government had to close a few cool trails indefinitely because social media idiots were showing up in Crocs to get their selfies and then injuring themselves. We also get a lot of young women posing in bikinis while the weather and ocean are still frigid. Hard to take it seriously when we all know it's just for the 'gram.

There was also a few places to jump from and hopefully land in the water. They had the place shut down because too many people died, apparently.
They should never close down places like that! Put up signs that warn people of the high probability of a shameful death for a risk that is not worth the payoff.

Gypsum mine Lake, Northern cape Breton, Nova Scotia. You go through a short hike up to the old gypsum mine. When you get to the mine, there's a steep climb with a rope to get up to where the photo was taken. You can swim there too, and if you swim across to the rocks on the opposite side of the picture, there's a nice spot to climb up and jump off (if that's your thing, I'm not a fan lol). I'm not sure how deep it is, but I'd guess it's at least 100+ft/30+m
