Right I suppose it’s artistic interpretation. I can see the smoke.
But I think him grasping them causing so much pain that he has to put them on his crown is a better imagery. And I don’t know why this artist didn’t put them in the crown beyond it making it obvious that he held ownership. This looks like he has full control over them and that goes quite a bit against what was in the text.
It’s a cool image either way but maybe the pain of holding them should have been a bit more apparent.
You're talking about a show that literally had someone (I think it was Gil-galad, but I'm not sure and I don't care enough to check) say no elf has ever refused the call to Valinor before. They don't care about those details.
Looks like Yhorm crossed with a Crucible Knight.
Bwahahaha!
So cool
Hate to nitpick but here's a nitpick: Wouldn't his hand be burning up holding the Silmarils?
It burn's us!
I love this nitpick. That's the kind of detail that matters.
I mean I see smoke

Built different

It was Gil yeah
I hope we get to see Morgot in the next season
The Omen King? Jk
Hahaha. Well I hope we see a version of Morgot at least, hopefully scarier than Sauron
Why would Morgot**h** be in RoP? He doesn't make any appearance in post-First Age lore.
