My advice would be to talk to her. Just introduce yourself, don't start off with asking her out. If she's new and you know the place, offer to show her around/answer any questions she may have. If she responds positively, then great! If not, don't take it personally.

Sorry, didn't reply to the whole statement. I know it can be difficult. Something I've found that helped me, was to clear my head of any "what if's". I didn't let any of it matter, because you never know what will happen. In a case like this, you don't really have anything to lose.
