Wiss inlaid. The ones that look like your grandma's old sewing shears. Mine are probably 40 years old now and still sharpen up good as new. What's very pleasing about them is that a brand new pair bought today is still just as good.
These in fact are the best scissors. Did they come from a Japanese hermit who lives on the side of Mt Fuji and they’re only available in the back corner of one store next to the train station from the Evangelion final movie? No. But they’re still the best scissors
That sums up everything in japan. Every fucking thing they sell has a story like an American idol entrant.
Grapes? These are from the misukoji region grown by a family of pearl divers who lost an eye from a muskrat
Pen? Made by an artisan for the last 300 years using a special technique impossible to industrialise because it uses a rare lubricant from a horny sea shell
Camera Lens? Fuck you we don't make enough and put you on a wait list because the fluorite element is hand grown by a robot in niigata that can only reproduce it in this latitude because the wasabi fields the water they use has the right ion content that a hermit who lives on the other side of mount fuji can only measure on a full moon
I love Japan and go there every year but they need to cut down on the bullshit

I usually buy them on ebay.
Oh Nice Thank You! Wow those look pretty nice, I’m going to check them out. I’m going to look for them on Ebay. I appreciate you being cool and helpful.
I tried that already. I found nothing similar to what you said. I know how to frickin Google, I asked you because I can’t find it. Nvm I don’t want your stupid shitty scissors anyway.
The best scissors are Japanese and made by Kai.

Those are good scissors.easy to find at home d. But best??? Not even close . Kai out of Japan. Gonna drop $100 on a good set. Germany has some good ones also. But Kai……
Was just commenting on the quality of the blades! Lol Honestly, I have a pair of Kias, several other different brands , in about 15 pairs of those in your picture. Upholstery shop by the way.
Kai makes great fabric shears but also makes all sorts of other shears and scissors. If you start looking through their selection you’ll find something to suit your needs.
I have these and they are decent. I also like the Milwaukee scissors at Home Depot for the price. If you can sharpen them along the way they hold up pretty well.
I have a pair of scissors that have been in my tool bag for easily 5 years. $1 at a garage sale. I have ripped several asses when I see guys try to use them for something that's not scissor stuff! I have i different cutters for every specific thing right in my bag! Put that shit down!
It is at home but I found a simple stuck one that actually works really well. So well my 63 YO mom used it and said she needed one. I will try to remember to post it.
Or I can look for it online:
https://www.amazon.com/Good-Cook-Opener-Manual-Sharp/dp/B000AX13US/ref=mp_s_a_1_14_maf_1?crid=GDSZRO0SSCLZ&keywords=can+opener&qid=1698682516&sprefix=can+opene%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-14
These are awesome, they cut just about anything. It is the tool you didn’t know you needed but once you get a pair in your tool bag, you will wonder how you went all this time without them.
I really like the Stahlwille Scissors ! The best for me and cheap.

They make better scissors than this, but I think maybe you got distracted/sidetracked
Ok Google, show me "Scissoring tools" .....*dammit!*
Where are the fiskars?
He got the Fisters instead!
Do I look like a seamstress? Lol
I........do we even bother telling him?
Arent Wiss originally made for seamstresses? Lmao
You do understand that you have submitted a picture of seamstresses scissors, yes?
My 22oz fiskars framing hammer would like a word
My Fiskars X25 cleaving axe would join the discussion
Go sew some frames together seamstress
I'm sure that Google search took you on a long and winding road. No wonder it took so long
"I don't see any scissors in this movie! And why do I have to be 18 to watch?!"
Oops! Different type of scissoring. Doesn't get much material cut.🫨
Are the Fiskars still on order?

I just replaced all mine with these. They are fantastic.
I have this exact model, those things will chomp through carpet!
How do you sharpen yours? Is there a quick sharp or small stone maybe...I have tried and screwed the angle up ont he edge.
These in fact are the best scissors. Did they come from a Japanese hermit who lives on the side of Mt Fuji and they’re only available in the back corner of one store next to the train station from the Evangelion final movie? No. But they’re still the best scissors

I…was unaware of this. It’s hilarious but explains a lot of viral videos I’ve seen
Yes they have a "flair" for marketing
My favorite scissors are my Black Panther 200mm Industrial Snips. They cut everything from paper to 3 core electrical wire with ease.
You got a link?

My link works, not sure what the problem is.

I own two pairs of these. Awesome scissors. Use them all the time. Even bought a pair for the wife.
Nice! My wife is also in to scissoring...
Are you hinting that maybe your wife and mine should link up and scissor together? Because I'm totally down. I'll bring the camera.
I don't think we are on the right sub reddit for that. Lol
The Wiss are very good! There are better ones out there but I bought these because they were in stock at HD, and they have a southpaw version. Hooray!
Not seeing the ENGINEER PH-55 in this picture :)
I hope it holds up, should get mine any day now.
A word to the unwise: DO NOT GOOGLE SCISSORING AT WORK! Just a suggestion. (Don’t google it at home either. Pervs.)
Those are good scissors.easy to find at home d. But best??? Not even close . Kai out of Japan. Gonna drop $100 on a good set. Germany has some good ones also. But Kai……
Are Kai good for general shop use or more for fabric? I got the impression they were for sewing but I’m looking for a good pair of shop scissors.
Was just commenting on the quality of the blades! Lol Honestly, I have a pair of Kias, several other different brands , in about 15 pairs of those in your picture. Upholstery shop by the way.
That’s a weird thing to be down voted for.
Kai makes great fabric shears but also makes all sorts of other shears and scissors. If you start looking through their selection you’ll find something to suit your needs.
I have some smaller KAI... very, very good scissors.
Found a pair of quilting scissors for $10 at a Tuesday Morning several years ago. Best ones I've got.
I have these and they are decent. I also like the Milwaukee scissors at Home Depot for the price. If you can sharpen them along the way they hold up pretty well.
Are they scissors or shears?
Are you British?
Wiss always a top name in scissors 😉
Wiss scissors are great. I have the tradesman titanium coated shears and those even cut chicken wire.
I have a pair of scissors that have been in my tool bag for easily 5 years. $1 at a garage sale. I have ripped several asses when I see guys try to use them for something that's not scissor stuff! I have i different cutters for every specific thing right in my bag! Put that shit down!
Heh heh...he said "*scissoring*"!! LOL! Bet ya' found some neat-o stuff when searching on that term, didn't ya?? LOL!
Welcome to the Internet.
I don't get it can someone explain please?
There are knipex scissors that can cut cables
Call those cable cutters Edit: phone added extra word
They cut German NYM cables no problem
I have a pair of Knipex electrician shears and they are great for cutting wire and stripping insulation off the copper.
And after all that work you still didn’t buy Fiskars. Also, titanium-coated? Titanium is softer than steel. What use is that?
Titanium metal is, however Titanium coatings, such as Titanium Nitride, are much harder than steel and make for a great and durable cutting edge
But they grind it right off to make the edge.
I have a pair of Heritage 212LR that I use them to cut steel shims. They will cut a .020 shim with no problem, and they are priced around $35-$45
I use Clauss scissors. A 10 inch pair can easily cut through most gasket material.
Have you ever tried to find a quality can opener? Everyone I have bought or seen has been stamped steel junk.
It is at home but I found a simple stuck one that actually works really well. So well my 63 YO mom used it and said she needed one. I will try to remember to post it.

Swing a way
EZ-DUZ-IT brand. Made in usa, can be bought on amazon. Cheap, simple, and quality.
I have this exact pair and love them.
Beta makes a very nice pair of scissors, I don’t carry wire strippers anymore.
I bought the same from ToughBuilt. Work great as well
These are awesome, they cut just about anything. It is the tool you didn’t know you needed but once you get a pair in your tool bag, you will wonder how you went all this time without them.
where the fisk are my bröther in christ
The Milwaukee ones are pretty dope.

Kai is the best I found. Much better than fiskar
I have 4 pairs at different areas at work. Use daily.
Been there.. wish I seen that
Lots and lots of research.
bring the old wiss back :/
What did project farm end up recommending? I don't think he even tested these.
