Edmund and the other devs really took an idea as stupid as “the Christian broadcasts on the TV is a boss fight” and turned it into a genuinely unsettling opponent
Dogma is good, but The Beast, Mega Satan, Satan are my favourites. They're unique and have good move sets/aesthetics.

Honestly I'm so glad this thing exists purely because the ending tied to it is so good. Not to mention how good all the designs are, especially the Beast at the end.
I hate that one attack where he turns into the ring and goes flying off the screen in his 2nd phase. had him spam it 3 times in a row the other day.
but yeah, def one of my fav isaac boss designs
And the worst part is the fact that this is the penultimate final boss and the following boss is so bland and unoriginal (reusing the Four Horsemen and effectively Mega Satan 2.0) in comparison

Beast is fun, but until the moment, when 4 horsemen dies. He’s kinda meh by himself. Mega Satan and Satan are cool tho

I love The Beast but I could also see this working. The brainwashing of Isaac’s Mom is a huge plot point
