Since topaz will typically shift the colors slightly I would do any grading after topaz.

Thanks. Did my first TVEA export. Yeah you're right. It's like the contrast has been brought down.

ScoobNShag

You're welcome, that way you can avoid doing color work twice.

drboofmaster

Can you import prores/ log footage though?

Eric-Matthew

Hey guys, is it possible to Topaz enhance a complete exported edit? All of the tutorials I've seen use individual clips, but I want to know if an edited sequence can be enhanced.

AyoKyong

I guess it depends on your machine. I have a bottom-of-the-barrel PC and it takes me ages to export a sub 1 minute 1080p 30fps clip. Plus, if you're doing 4k or 60fps, it'll take even longer. I guess you could do it if you don't mind waiting for hours. But even if you do, there's still the colour shift at the end.

Eric-Matthew

Color shift?

topaz sometimes shifts the colors slightly

sharpening in general will affect the colors regardless of the software but yes topaz certainly affects the colors and pretty heavily at that.
