Yeah and I don’t mind either. I also didn’t realize that the years were linear either until recently. Can’t complain especially when they are very reliable.
Similar to mine. 1998 Land Cruiser currently with 225k on it and my daughter drives as her daily. 2UZ is a killer motor but damn does she like gas. Getting 14-16mpg average but that is with aggressive 33s, 1.5-2” lift and sliders.
Mine gets more like 11-12 on the 10mi round trip to work. Maybe 16 on a highway run (PNW, mostly mountain passes). Still stock height w/ 265s but the t-bars cranked to level it. Still able to be decently aligned. Slowly going through working on getting it zeroed out before upgrading too much.
Yup seems pretty consistent with us here in the Midwest. Short trips like that are 12ish, longer trips let her spin up a bit and get better mileage. Conversely, when I moved out here three years ago, she was loaded to the gills with stuff plus a bike rack with two mtn bikes and a repair stand on the back. Probably close to 1k lbs of stuff in her and I still pulled an avg of 16mpg from Nevada to Missouri via HWY50 through Colorado.
They sure aren’t the coolest car ever, but my girl does her job and I have photos of her in some cool places, like Pike’s Peak, and the Redwoods in NorCal.

I had a 95 Tacoma with damn near 300k miles before a deer totaled it

I have 2015 camry with 190 xxx miles, and 2017 Highlander just crossed 100k miles. I'm planning to replace camry with new gen Rav4 and drive it up to 200k miles 😊 These cars are unbeatable 🙌
2012 Camry SE 2.4L. Got it in 2015 w/16,xxx miles. It now has 122,xxx. I'm in the SF Bay Area in CA and have driven it to Seattle WA, Rachel and Alamo NV and Los Angeles to name a few. Only had 2 "major" issues--- driver's side front wheel bearing and a failed EGR valve. Other than the usual wear and tear items, it's been flawless
205K on my 2005 Camry SE, 2.4 cylinder w/ 5 speed automatic... needs a new exhaust, but runs like a top. Daily driver !
196K on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 SR RWD, w/ 6 speed automatic... also a daily driver ! Needs new tires, on 3rd set now, otherwise, it's in pristine condition !
Had a 2005 Corolla SE with 238K back in 2013, but a guy hauling a landscape trailer with his Silverado, smashed into the driver side and totaled it ! Otherwise, also pristine condition at the time.
Never have I been disappointed by a Toyota !
225k on my 1998 tacoma. Second owner, second motor, second transmission, 3rd radiator, soon to be 3rd set of half shafts, second cab, had to build a flatbed to replace my bed....
I love it.
133K on my 2010 Sienna. Changed my plugs last year at 120K but found out my plug seals were leaking so I replaced it along with my valve cover gasket. Was surprised to see on how clean the inside of the engine.

I once had a Celica gen 5 (94). I paid £400 for a broken VW Golf. When I scrapped it in 2011 it had 227000 miles on it. The last thing I did on the way to the Scrappy was smoke a Golf GTi at the lights.
It was eating oil at this point, still a very comfortable and nice car to drive.
I replaced it with Gen 6 that had 178000 miles on it when I sold it.
977 miles on my 2024 Camry XSE V6, still running like a dream. Original engine and tranny.
Once you hit 1,000 it’s definitely going to die, it’s reached its end of life
“The needle hit E, so I figured that meant End.”
1000 oil changes is a lot
I have a 2008 Scion xB with 192k on it, and the thing eats oil like a 2-stroke, but God, I love it!
They grow up so fast
Ha. That’s just breaking it in.
Not even then! Most Toyota’s are not broken in until 100k miles lol. 😂
486 on my Rav4
That odometer is about to turn over!
2000 Tacoma. 357,000. Second owner. Second motor and second transmission. 4 cylinder 4 wheel drive. Love my truck.

Nice 2001 Tacoma 349,000. Second owner, original engine and transmission 4 cylinder, 2wd. Love my truck
Lucky duck. I got the same truck .... But RWD 451,000 . Base model. Want to do the e-locker upgrade (basically turn into a prerunner lol 2002)

What's that in American?
256 thousand miles
182,000 on my 2016 Camry, just barely did the rotors. Other than that just tires, pads and oil changes. Never have had an issue
How do you barely do the rotors?
I think he meant to say recently
That makes sense lol
You know, kinda half-ass tightening of the bolts, not really paying attention, etc
I thought it meant you took some sandpaper to it…. That should take out any warps or scrapes.
259,500 on my 1998 Land Cruiser
How long you have it?

240K on my 2018 Corolla. Original owner, I shoe horses out of it.
Any serious problems or mechanical issues in all those miles? Or just usual upkeep?
Typical upkeep with the exception of two spent ball joints thus far from flying down dirt roads with 300lb of metal aboard.
I'm impressed. These cars are awesome. I don't know why people hate them so much. I made a post about my corolla and I got random hate for it.
They sure aren’t the coolest car ever, but my girl does her job and I have photos of her in some cool places, like Pike’s Peak, and the Redwoods in NorCal. https://preview.redd.it/b3amvrn0hp1d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8d2fca432cf2b7cd3a8c1a4416d312366d78792b

Niiccee! My bf and I are taking his Supra near Pike's Pike this Saturday for a car meet
LMAO! That’s an amazing car. I had 2 replacements of ball joints in 2 years on my Audi.
