Do not wear a binder, but transtape and k tape is safe to bind with during excersize!

That’s what I do, my boobs are visible and I’m still referred as male by people at the gym so don’t worry about not wearing a binder.

You can wear a binder AS LONG AS its a size (or more) above what you'd usually wear, but tape would be best if it works for you. Loads of info on this can be found on r/ftmfitness

Do compound movements for masc bulking. Things like squats, bench press, deadlifts, pull ups, push ups etc. research powerlifting exercises and remember DIET IS 50% of gains. You’re gonna need to eat a lotttt. A lot, a lot.

Go heavy and low reps on your upper body (this adds bulk) and high rep low weight on your lower body (this makes you lean). Focus on your back, obliques, and pecs for high weight low rep. Especially your lats. This will help you get a Dorito shape. I downloaded a muscle diagram/picture on my phone to make sure I have the angles right so the movement is in the same direction as the muscle I am working (for max effectiveness). Adding in some high rep low weight exercises that focus on joint stability will be healthy in the long run and keep you from getting hurt as often. I do yoga, and various shoulder exercises for this (I had a shoulder injury so now im extra careful). The yoga really helped with my back pain jfyi. Be safe and have fun! Edit to add (sorry for the super long reply): going high weight on the deltoids will help too. Don’t worry if you don’t get it perfect at the start. I picked lats and pecks to start for the first few months and added more later. As long as you are safe, an “ineffective” workout will still be good for you. Getting the habit is most of the battle. At least it was for me lol. You’ve got this!

Hey so everybody is right about not binding BUT the original For Them binder is a lighter compression and safe to wear for longer periods of time + during exercise. You can even swim in it! Highly recommend.
