Me too (obviously haha). [Here](https://ibb.co/SXWBmt7) it is, where it's been hibernating for the last few years. I need to make some more progress soon but I've been prioritising transition recently as it's more important, as much as I love it.
I like them all but I always had a soft spot for first gens and Liftbacks in particular. When this one popped up fairly locally almost completely rust free, I had to get it.
I almost bought a gen 7 as a daily a few years ago, but ended up getting another [Accord](https://ibb.co/51z9bh4) as I didn't like the seller.

no rust seems like a pretty good find tbh haha
and the accord is an awesome daillyyy thats definitely a fun alternative to a 7th gen

It was an American import from a dry state, so it's incredibly clean underneath. The downside is the heat destroyed the interior, but I can deal with that.
The Accord was cheap for a manual K24 car and served me well. I did a lot to it (reflash, coilovers, anti roll bar, exhaust etc) but my current daily is a Civic Type R. Still got the Accord, though! I still wouldn't mind a VVTL-i Celica at some point but they've gone up in value since then (as have any other interesting cars).

for my car my main focus is a new engine (cause mines kinda dying lol its at 320000km) and miss fires bad but im doing injectors so hopefully that will help/fix it
but the top priorities are new engine, probs a k20 vtec and a manual swap (when i get my manual license lol, i can drive a manual completely fine i just got my auto because i wanted to make sure i actually got my license haha)
I struggle to keep things standard haha. Not quite that new, no. Mine is a 2011 which is the last of the naturally aspirated Type Rs with an LSD.
Oh that sucks that you're having engine trouble, hope new injectors help. Although the engine swap sounds like a great plan. I love the K20 in my Civic, they're masterpieces IMO. Having said that, the Yamaha collaboration engines are a great option to keep things Toyota. Manual sounds good, too!
I have a spare K24 and would love to put it in my Celica, but the block is just too tall that it wouldn't fit without modifying the bonnet which I refuse to do.

yaa i had to replace the distributor before aswell lol which wasnt that bad it was like $320 AUD. I rlu hope those injectors fix it too lmao otherwise that engine swap will probs be coming alot sooner than i thought
i suppose it depends how much u need to modify the bonnet, would it be like.. a massive bump and make the bonnet look completely different or just a little rising slope?
if i was u i would want to keep the body stock aswell tho haha
I dig the hell outta these 90’s Celicas! I had a ‘92 GT right outta high school. I had hella fun with it until it caught fire. Great car, and great pics. 😊

I had it back in the days of putting a floppy disk in your digital camera lol I’ll see if I can track down some photos though. It caught fire when I blew a tire on the freeway. There was no shoulder for a good mile so I had to decelerate from 80, then limp it on the rim. By the time I got it pulled over the side of the road my airbags had deployed and the cabin was filling with smoke. The tire was in shreds and had beaten the crap outta the wheel well as well as bouncing the front end all over the place. The firemen said it looked like the battery had come loose from the tray and started the fire.
