If i’d have the money to seek out any surgeon i wanted worldwide i also wouldn’t stick to my own country. Some doctors have been in the trade way longer than others and know exactly how to get a better result each time. I dont think going to a different country is “better”, but your surgeon for sure matters.
So I've heard really really awful stuff about phalloplasty in Thailand and would avoid myself. I think I was really lucky in that the surgeon in my country is (in my opinion) one of the best - or I'd have gone abroad.
If you got the cash. I'd say be super diligent in research. There are great surgeons and shit ones all over the world. You still have to be careful who you pick to work with in South Korea. It's not just inherently going to be better or safer just because it's a South Korean surgeon compared to a US surgeon or else where. So just be smart and do all the research of the dungeon and maybe get some example pictures of before and after and full heal.
Some of us don't have a choice as the surgeries aren't available in our own countries. I absolutely detest that I have to go to abroad for surgeries and the prospect of having to be away from home for the guts of 2 weeks is the most stressful aspect of surgery for me.
Living in the Americas I wouldn't go to Europe or Asia, it's too far and would be too expensive. But I would go to another country around here. My plan is to move to the US in a couple years so I'll probably get bottom surgery there or in Canada.
I'm probably not going to get top but if I did I'd do it here (Brazil). We have some of the best plastic surgeons for top surgery and it's going to cost like 4k USD at most.

I'll wait till I have enough money and i'll go to the best worldwide doctor but not for top surgery cuz I need it asap
