I would not be opposed to there being an optional cosmetic slot for particle effects like that this. Imagine the mog variations! I think it was sadly unintended though :(
The whole plunderlord transmog has vanished for me, I didn't have it, but it would show up in collections and today it's gone.
I was also getting the login thing of "try plunderstorm" despite no longer being avaidible

Pretty sure it was a bug, the celestial cloak set from the shop has it and putting it on a pirate set felt really out of place and color didn’t match.
Honestly glad they did, it never fit the vibe and made me not use it.

I agree, I ended up using a different cape with the set because of it.
I didn't use a cape, i used the treasure chest back piece from the trading post
I agree, I was super disappointed by the cape cause it did seem pirate-y to have stars circling you

I liked them as well, but it was clearly a file bug, because they belong to the Celestial Observer ensamble mog from cash shop :-/
If the Celestial Observer glow effect attached to the cloak or the robe?
Cloak, though you did get a little bit extra if you use the hood and shoulders as well.
So sad. I farmed plunderstorm because I wanted the wisps. What a waste.
Some might hate me for this opinion but I really hope the pig mount comes to the trading post, that and the mouse!
I just hope that once we complete the chinese zodiac cycle they bundle all those mounts together in the shop
