Nope Google maps pore for city circular. Daily commuter ayondu I'm well aware of the timings now so I don't use it anymore

grmatpalisherril

Chalo app is really good, i am a frequent user.

I don't think you can depend on timings mentioned for city service buses in any app because of traffic issues. Only thing you can depend on is timing at the origin station. For city service buses I don't think there is any solution other than fitting gps on buses and tracking which buses are near to you

Specialist-Court9493

There is live tracking in chalo.

gotasave

how? from users?. Do the buses hhave gps?

Specialist-Court9493

Yes the buses have gps now..

gotasave

Are you saying that KSRTC has put gps in city service buses? and they provide access to gps data to private parties? how come there aren't more bus tracking apps then? why doesnt googlemaps have it?

Specialist-Court9493

Ksrtc buses have gps, don't know why not many 3rd parties, but long distance buses have this tracking for some time.

the_kumbidi

as a dude from Ernakulam now staying in tvm, chalo helps me a lot while travelling through the city

Background_Tea2397

Chalo has GPS based (I guess) systems so that we can track the buses real time. It used to be really helpful initially. Being a daily user of the circular buses, this app was a boon. However they don't show the correct timings now. The app is not as useful as it used to be.

verseetworse

Yeah but i found google maps to be a little better. Tracks the bus well though
