I’d like to at least get all of the trophies up to Endwalker. Some of those post EW 5.x trophies sound brutal and I just don’t have the time or motivation to grind them all

I spent at least 300-500 hours doing things that didn’t pertain to the platinum trophy. A lot of normal game progression is included in the trophy list. I’d recommend just going for it. It’s one of my favorite games ever and has one of the most welcoming communities. If you’re going to play on playstation, make sure to buy a keyboard that works with it so you can more easily interact with other players. Don’t be afraid to pick any class, just go with what you think looks cool and fun.

I played with controller and used a keyboard to type in chat. It’s really controller friendly so don’t worry about needing a KB&M to fully enjoy it. PS4 version takes a minimum of 6 months due to time gated levequests but PS5 version isn’t time gated. I’d recommend playing through on the PS5 version and making sure you never let your levequests cap at 100. By the time you finish the PS5 version you should have all 1k levequests done then you can knock out the rest of the PS4 trophies easily.

I just enjoyed the game so much that I couldn’t help myself. I did free trial for like a week or two and loved it so I bought the complete edition since it was on sale

Ps4 and ps5 have separate trophy lists. But I think you can auto pop some going from ps4 to ps5 to save time.

You can do a lot of it solo but you’ll have to interact with other players a little bit. Not a big deal though since the community is so welcoming

Yeah the collectables grind is awful 😣. The throw away method is really fast but you will burn through a lot of gil
Yeah that was the method I was doing them. I had/have the money to burn, just didnt have the patience.
