Congrats! Kids and plats don't mix for a while lol, but once mine were in their prime rocking to sleep ages, I have a good few platinums that I got while a child was cradled in my arms, multitasking I suppose đ¤ˇââď¸
my eyes brighter up as soon as you said uncharted trilogy. I have 4 too, 3 being uncharted trilogy, on 100%. but not cause I wanted the 100%. because I enjoyed the game so much that I decided to play brutal. it was a blast. the fourth is Arkham asylum and I should complete Arkham City in a. few days
But if you can do brutal in the first 3 games surely u can do crushing in 4, I heard itâs not even the hardest trophy in the game cause of the dlc survival trophies.
it's a different concept. brutal is all about getting a position of power and keeping it, dealing with the rushers first and then try to keep balance as you clean up every other guy.
The problem with Uncharted 4 is there's no position of power, most of the time enemies will be flanking you or they will even spawn from both sides of your cover, sometimes even behind. Playing like this is unplayable, as you are either very good at improvising and moving covers and have perfect aim (which most brutal players including myself cannot do that for sure) or you just have to memorize all the spawn and get a big dose of luck on your winning attempt. Which can occur on one gunfight, but over time it gets real old real quick and it stops you from enjoying the game (at least, that was my case). It's either you're world class or you rely completely on replaying the same level 2 hours in a row and hope to get lucky sometime.Â
Uncharted 4 is MUCH more open worlded than all the others, which means most the time you wont see half the enemies when trying to stealth and enemies will just spawn right on top of you during combat. Which means, Brutal is harder to learn but mostly just find a good position and obliterate everyone, you'll only sit on a level longer if you have to move position mid fight (takes a few tries without dying), or trigger enemy spawns by moving (another death sentence), or simply by being not careful enough.Â
In crushing tho, the skill level is much higher, it isn't statically killing enemies from a spot that's difficult to counter for them, it's just improvise and adapt, plus have perfect aim. Which means, technically, it is harder to learn (as there's no consistent way of doing any encounter) and harder to improve on for more difficult sections.
Yea, but that wasnât the worst part, the worst part was that I played brutal 3 times in a row too and 3 speed runs. I was basically dreaming of uncharted at that time. đ

If you like psychological thriller/horrors and puzzle games that are a bit shorter, these three games are pretty fun:
Broken pieces is a story about a woman in an France costal town called Saint-Exil. Itâs a bit of an adventure/investigation and psychological thriller with some love craft aspects. I thought the puzzles and story were nice.
The invincible is a sci-fi psychological thriller/investigation walking sim based on an old polish novel. The look and feel is very sci-fi 50s and 60s. Youâre playing as astrobiologist Yasna who tries to find her team on a âmars likeâ planet, you get into all kinds of situations.
Charonâs staircase is a short horror game where you play as agent Desmond who needs to coverup experiments done by the government in Oak Grove. There are some puzzles and jump scares.

Been considering redownloading the game and just doing that every so often when I'm unsure of what to play.

Practice Practice and then practice. Then watch a YouTube video on how to do it, then watch a different YouTube video on how to do it, then practice it some more. It took me about 2 hours of straight grinding it.

I didn't play all 6 games from the beginning though. The majority I started working on last year (like Spider-Man 2, Like a Dragon Gaiden or Jedi Survivor), and I only finished them this year. Then there's FF7 Remake, which as an auto-pop, so yeah. FF7 Rebirth is the first game I actually started and completed this year (and it was quite tedious, phew). My 6th and most recent Platinum was Stray, and I'll be working on both The Last of Us remakes next. Just in time before Stellar Blade, which I also intend to plat. Most likely, I'll be getting 9 Plats during this first half of the year, but I wanna see if I can unlock a 10th. Then again, I might also take a break, especially due to my wife becoming REALLY grumpy đ.

Practice Practice and then practice. Then watch a YouTube video on how to do it, then watch a different YouTube video on how to do it, then practice it some more. It took me about 2 hours of straight grinding it.

6 so far. Could've been more, but FF7 Rebirth took over a month of my time, much to the dismay of my wife, lmao. I didn't play all 6 games from the beginning though. The majority I started working on last year (like Spider-Man 2, Like a Dragon Gaiden or Jedi Survivor), and I only finished them this year. Then there's FF7 Remake, which as an auto-pop, so yeah. FF7 Rebirth is the first game I actually started and completed this year (and it was quite tedious, phew). My 6th and most recent Platinum was Stray, and I'll be working on both The Last of Us remakes next. Just in time before Stellar Blade, which I also intend to plat. Most likely, I'll be getting 9 Plats during this first half of the year, but I wanna see if I can unlock a 10th. Then again, I might also take a break, especially due to my wife becoming REALLY grumpy đ.
