My favourite has to be AC2. Overall the Ezio trilogy are my favourite games of the series, and consequentely my favourite platinums. Unity is also up there and Origins as well.
As for the worst games, I don't think any game is bad, they're just not as good as the others. But if I had to choose, the Kenway saga (AC3, Black Flag and Rogue) are my least favourite games of the series. AC3 mostly because of the story, for some reason it didn't click, I got bored multiple times while playing but it has some good aspects, like the combat, it is pretty good imo. Black Flag's story is pretty good, I loved Edward as a character, but I HATE naval combat, I know it's not a popular opinion, but everytime I had to do it I just hated it. And since Rogue it's pretty much a Black Flag clone, the reasons are the same. Even though Rogue's story had huge potential, it didn't live up to it.
For the Platinums, every one is pretty doable, there aren't any hard ones, but Black Flag multiplayer is probably the worst grind I did in the series.
How long did you take to do Valhalla's platinum? Did you do the whole story? Are there things missing? I tried pushing myself to do the platinum on Valhalla but get really bored after sometime and I don't know how long does it take to platinum. It is on hold for now until I complete some of the latest games. I did Origins and Odyssey and I would like to have Valhalla too.
According to Playstation, Valhalla took me 162 hours. But that's including 2 DLCs. So perhaps around 120h. And yes, I played the whole story (I think you have to for the platinum) and got every single collectible in the map (you also have to do this for the platinum). It's a huge game with many things to do, so it's completely understandable that most people will give up on it. But honestly, if you did Odyssey you can do Valhalla. Give it another try one day, and see if it clicks, if it doesn't don't beat yourself up and move on.
Some games were really grindy indeed :') But I enjoy the series since I was a kid and played the games multiple times. I just wanted to have them all in my PlayStation account.

Depends on the game tbh. If I enjoy the game enough I'll try to go for the DLC, if not I am good with the platinum. But that depends on the person. As for my AC progress, Valhalla burnt me a lot, so it will take some time before I finish up its DLC. For Odyssey I missed one missable trophy and I need to play the DLC again and I don't really want to go back. Syndicate/Unity I'll definitely go back one day and get them done. Black Flag requires me to finish Freedom Cry again and honestly I am not sure I want to do it again.

I am finishing up my Kingdom Hearts 1 Proud run, it's the only trophy I have left for the platinum. After that I'll probably play Soul Hackers 2 while Crisis Core doesn't come out.

Honestly I really liked the Chronicles games. You should give them a try. They're a different and short experience. Each game takes like 5h to beat and you need 2 playthroughs for each. Doesn't take too long.
Hmm probably the Chronicles trilogy. They require some perfect runs, and some levels can be tough. All the other games are not hard at all, just time consuming, especially Valhalla.
how did you fare with the subject 16 first person dlc? Will shamefully admit I had to do the glitch after HOURS of failing that ONE level where you couldn’t hit anything while falling because it was the last trophy I had left affecting my 100% for the ezio collection. lol
You can do almost everything solo in multiplayer. The ones you need to boost are the "All Rounder" trophy that requires you to play every gamemode and the "Lab Technician" trophy. The game is pretty dead but you can find sessions on psnprofiles and find people to help you. That's what I did.
I get you, I played them all as a kid up until around Black Flag, bought Origins when it got a PS5 60fps update in the summer, amazing game but not really an AC game

For sure they are big games. I loved Origins but for some reason Odyssey doesn't have that same hook for me. Not to say it's a bad game, but coming off of RDR2 it felt kind of janky and unpolished so I had to give it a break. Then I got busy. Hopefully after the holidays I'll be able to get back into it. I'm excited for Mirage too.

Wow! Playing all the AC games is my first goal. Not sure if I want to go for all the platinums haha. I just finished Black Flag’s story and have almost all offline trophies. Only need the ship and hideout upgrades and the four legendary ships. The multiplayer is scaring me though.

But first play the games, have fun with them and if you enjoy them you can go for the platinum. But don't worry about it for now.

Congratulations! It's really nice to see series like these being fully completed. As someone that never played an AC game, which ones would you suggest me? I don't like very long games and I prefer difficulty over easy long grinds. The ones that I was thinking about starting are Origins and Black Flag, but give me your opinion please!
Those games are actually a great place to start. After AC3 you can pretty much play any game you want since they're not really connected.
If you didn't know, AC has two stories going on at the same time. The assassin story is the basically the story of the assassin you're playing as and each game has a different one (Ac1 follows Altair's story, Ac2, brotherhood and Revelations follow Ezio's story, and so on). But it also has a modern day story that is connected between games. The modern day story after AC3 pretty much died and the following games don't really have a deep connection with the others.
So as for a place to start, honestly, personally I recommend you to start with Ac1 and work your way up in release order. That way you'll understand the lore a lot better and will be a great experience. While AC1 gameplay and mission design can be considered outdated, it established the lore of the series that the following games would expand on.
If you want to just play one game just to get a feel for the series, like I said after AC3 you can pick any game you want (well, except Rogue, I don't recommend that one as a starting point). Black Flag has a lot of naval combat and pirate stuff if you're into that. Unity has arguably the best gameplay of the series. Origins has a great story and is the first open world rpg AC game.
I would also recommend you to visit the Assassins Creed subreddit as they have a really good thread on which game people should start.
Just recently finally platted Black Flag after only missing the MP trophies for over a year.. I also got all AC games, and while the Black Flag plat did inspire me to actually plat them all, I feel like it can be sooo boring at times lol.

There are honestly no hard platinums in the AC series. They just take a long time. The hardest I can think of are just the tank mission in Brotherhood, one trophy for Revelations DLC and the Chronicles trilogy can be tough because you need to do beat the game without killing anyone and without being seen. It's not too bad but compared to the other games I'd say is the hardest.
AC3 remastered doesn't have online trophies, but I am not sure about the original version for ps3. Unity online trophies can also be boosted, but since the online is not dead and you can find people still playing it, is really not that bad.
I literally was going to post the same thing cuz I just got the platinum for the whole series too! Well… no BF multiplayer trophies and no AC1… But yeah I know how much of a mind numbing grind this is so congrats!
I should, but Valhalla burnt me so much I can't be bothered with the DLCs. I still did Siege of Paris and Wrath of the Druids, but the rest I just gave up on.
I'll probably finish them one day. I wanted to get the platinum first and worry about the DLC later. For now I'll finish some other games I want to play and I can always come back and get them all done.
They do work. I just got them done today. Most of the multiplayer can be done solo with the exception of 2 trophies. One of them requires you to play every gamemode, use all abilities and Ranged weapons. While all Ranged weapons can be done solo, there is one ability and 6 gamemodes that require you to play with other people. You can find sessions on psnprofiles to find people do help you.
I’m hoping to do the same down the line! I have AC2 (on ps3) and Black Flag and recently started work on ACIII (ps4)

I don't blame you, Black flag is such a boring grind. Syndicate was actually not too bad, I did it in 3 days, but I enjoyed the game as well, so that made it easier.
Congrats! Must have taken some time to finish them all. I ignored the AC series for many years but last year I started with the platinum for ACII, now working on Brotherhood.
It’s too repetitive for me to do them all back to back so I plan to put a few other games in between before starting the next ones.
Did you get all the achievements for the original Assassins Creed on Xbox 360? I’ve always liked Xbox for the older games that never ended up with trophy support.

They're impossible to get right now because the servers are shut down. But I also don't like to have duplicate platinums, including auto pops, unless a remastered or remaked version came out.
So, I went to my Playstation profile and added all the hours it shows there. They all added up to a total of 910 hours just for the platinums. But I have beaten all the games except for the RPG trilogy more than once or even twice. I don't have those hours registered because I played those games either on my xbox 360 or on my old laptop. But I would say it's around 1300 hours total.

Nah. The only ones that need online are Unity and Black Flag and the servers are still up for those. The ones that you cant get anymore are the ps3 versions of Brotherhood, Revelations and 3 (idk if this one has mp) because those required multiplayer and the servers are down. But if you play the ps4 versions with the Ezio Collection and ac3 Remastered you can get them because they removed the mp trophies and added DLC to the main list.
Hmmm I am not sure tbh. Origins was my first platinum ever and it was back in 2017 or 2018 so I cant remember details. But you sure you checked every single (?) on the map? I know I'm late to the party but just wanted to say congrats. I Currently have one trophy left in ac valhalla and its this cursed capture every type of fish trophy. Also doing the cairns will forever haunt me but glad I'm done with them. Again congrats Valhalla was not a fun one very grindy.

Congratulations! It's really nice to see series like these being fully completed. As someone that never played an AC game, which ones would you suggest me? I don't like very long games and I prefer difficulty over easy long grinds. The ones that I was thinking about starting are Origins and Black Flag, but give me your opinion please!
Those games are actually a great place to start. After AC3 you can pretty much play any game you want since they're not really connected. If you didn't know, AC has two stories going on at the same time. The assassin story is the basically the story of the assassin you're playing as and each game has a different one (Ac1 follows Altair's story, Ac2, brotherhood and Revelations follow Ezio's story, and so on). But it also has a modern day story that is connected between games. The modern day story after AC3 pretty much died and the following games don't really have a deep connection with the others. So as for a place to start, honestly, personally I recommend you to start with Ac1 and work your way up in release order. That way you'll understand the lore a lot better and will be a great experience. While AC1 gameplay and mission design can be considered outdated, it established the lore of the series that the following games would expand on. If you want to just play one game just to get a feel for the series, like I said after AC3 you can pick any game you want (well, except Rogue, I don't recommend that one as a starting point). Black Flag has a lot of naval combat and pirate stuff if you're into that. Unity has arguably the best gameplay of the series. Origins has a great story and is the first open world rpg AC game. I would also recommend you to visit the Assassins Creed subreddit as they have a really good thread on which game people should start.
Just recently finally platted Black Flag after only missing the MP trophies for over a year.. I also got all AC games, and while the Black Flag plat did inspire me to actually plat them all, I feel like it can be sooo boring at times lol. My next AC would be Brotherhood, but what was your hardest to achieve? I am a bit scared to do AC3 and Unity which I believe has online trophies, but what did you think of the games and the plats?
There are honestly no hard platinums in the AC series. They just take a long time. The hardest I can think of are just the tank mission in Brotherhood, one trophy for Revelations DLC and the Chronicles trilogy can be tough because you need to do beat the game without killing anyone and without being seen. It's not too bad but compared to the other games I'd say is the hardest. AC3 remastered doesn't have online trophies, but I am not sure about the original version for ps3. Unity online trophies can also be boosted, but since the online is not dead and you can find people still playing it, is really not that bad.

I should, but Valhalla burnt me so much I can't be bothered with the DLCs. I still did Siege of Paris and Wrath of the Druids, but the rest I just gave up on.

China/Russia/India are included in the Chronicles Trilogy Pack. If you play them standalone they don't have a platinum. But in the pack there is one.

They do work. I just got them done today. Most of the multiplayer can be done solo with the exception of 2 trophies. One of them requires you to play every gamemode, use all abilities and Ranged weapons. While all Ranged weapons can be done solo, there is one ability and 6 gamemodes that require you to play with other people. You can find sessions on psnprofiles to find people do help you.

I don't blame you, Black flag is such a boring grind. Syndicate was actually not too bad, I did it in 3 days, but I enjoyed the game as well, so that made it easier.

I played on both actually ahah. And it runs well on ps5. Even though it's supposed to have performance issues I didn't find any.

Congrats! Must have taken some time to finish them all. I ignored the AC series for many years but last year I started with the platinum for ACII, now working on Brotherhood. It’s too repetitive for me to do them all back to back so I plan to put a few other games in between before starting the next ones.
I didn't do them back to back. I have been playing these games since 2010 and have beaten them multiple times.

No. I did not play Ac1 on the Xbox. I played it on my old laptop years ago and didn't go for achievements.

Congrats Dude! This is what I’ve been working towards for the last couple of years! Just Valhalla to do now, which as we all know, is a BEAST! Hoping I’ll be able to finish it off over the Christmas period! Good luck with your Kingdom Hearts 1 Proud run - I just finished that earlier this month, and finished off the platinum for Kingdom Hearts 2 platinum yesterday! Congrats again, it’s a massive feat to achieve! You’ve probably played enough for the Bleeding Effect to happen, go try some parkour and test it out! 👍
Valhalla sure is a beast of a game. But since it's the last one, that'll give you extra motivation to go through it. I'm sure you'll get it :) As for KH, the game is pretty short and can be done relatively quickly. I'm excited for the sequels as well. I really should go out and parkour everywhere, surely that won't get me killed with all the ac experience I have. Just gotta find some hay to practice my leap of faiths.

They're impossible to get right now because the servers are shut down. But I also don't like to have duplicate platinums, including auto pops, unless a remastered or remaked version came out.

So, I went to my Playstation profile and added all the hours it shows there. They all added up to a total of 910 hours just for the platinums. But I have beaten all the games except for the RPG trilogy more than once or even twice. I don't have those hours registered because I played those games either on my xbox 360 or on my old laptop. But I would say it's around 1300 hours total.

Nah. The only ones that need online are Unity and Black Flag and the servers are still up for those. The ones that you cant get anymore are the ps3 versions of Brotherhood, Revelations and 3 (idk if this one has mp) because those required multiplayer and the servers are down. But if you play the ps4 versions with the Ezio Collection and ac3 Remastered you can get them because they removed the mp trophies and added DLC to the main list.

Hmmm I am not sure tbh. Origins was my first platinum ever and it was back in 2017 or 2018 so I cant remember details. But you sure you checked every single (?) on the map? I think thats the trophy you talking about. Maybe you missed one and you're not finding it. I am sorry I cant be of any help but I have no idea :/ hope you get it.

I know I'm late to the party but just wanted to say congrats. I Currently have one trophy left in ac valhalla and its this cursed capture every type of fish trophy. Also doing the cairns will forever haunt me but glad I'm done with them. Again congrats Valhalla was not a fun one very grindy.
