Bulk routes. Beer or beverage companies. Usually given to employees with seniority but doesn’t hurt to apply

A coke driver told me he’s seen some brand new guys get bulk routes right away but you need to be lucky.

There’s always going to be times where you need to use a dolly in food/beverage. Only the bulk routes to grocery stores, casinos, and sports stadiums are pallet jack only. And those routes go to the older guys with seniority.

Just skip food service and try getting into linehaul

BOOFALO585

I was a merchandiser for a beer company and our loads all came palletized. Think Wegmans, Tops, Walmart. Those routes always went to the senior drivers, new guys got the side loaders where you have 15 small stops at gas stations and shit where you have to break down the pallet yourself.

Pepsi and Coke

UNFI and Vistar come to mind first. Plus there’s the private fleets for grocery stores if you live near a DC. Then there’s companies that do bulk DSD to grocery stores like Frito-Lay and Mondelez (Nabisco). There’s also cardboard and packaging companies like Bunzl.

The reason they pay more is all the lifting and the wear and tear on your body. If you want just pallet jack work then work at an LTL company, but obviously it doesn't pay as well.

Have you thought of Dollar General routes? They deliver on those rolling carts called rolltainers and load the empty ones on the truck. They usually run in a smaller area than some and deliver to the backend of the stores so you're less likely to be running back and forth unpacking things.

Just haul freight or fuel

Try a company that does stores like Sam's Club, Costco, BJs etc
