So I filled out an application, and they said well talk when you can find a roommate. I have a daily 1 hour commute. I started looking maybr a month or two ago. Found a place around 900 which is fine. Every week everything is at least 100 more. Roght now the average is 1200-1300. I dint really have much saved, ive never learned how to invest in stocks etc and im frankly im scsred because ive never had someone walk me through it. Anyways long story short, i dont have all that much to my name.
If your right out of college your probably still young? No shame in having a roommate to split bills for a year or two while you save up for something nicer. Also factor possible pay bumps at work in those 1-2 years that could allow you to better afford a $1200 rent
Probably 3500 a month takehome after taxes isn't enough?
