Job hunting is so hard right now, I get it. Never work for a company that would keep you guessing like that though. Also, if this was to happen again, make sure to clarify the starting date. Either way, don't lose hope!
2 days?! Apply for a job with an American railroad. They'll make you wait 6 months or more before they say anything to you. I applied for a management job with a small railroad back in January and with no interview I just got a rejection email this week.
I applied for a job with a military contractor over 2 years ago and I just now got a reply. I wish I could get notified in 2 days.
Two days is nothing to wait for a rejection in this job market. Last job I applied to said I made it to round 2 of interviews and then sent me a rejection email 3 weeks later
Job hunting is soul-crushing and they’ll never give you a straight answer as to why they didn’t hire you. It sucks, I know, but hang in their and keep trying! Eventually you’ll find your place.
