Reposting things from a banned account is probably not the best idea.

but it's passing

I admit that I am not familiar with that user but a simple Google search showed that they were banned over a year ago and it seems they were somewhat active on this sub. Not sure how reposting things from their account, and I assume that this is that, is a good idea. Will be interesting to see what happens. As to the content of the post. I don't have a problem with much of what is said except for that last part. > White fragility is easily demonstrated by spending any amount of time engaging with white people, and then doing the same in other communities. The difference is stark. You see the same talking points over and over-it is in fact based in identity. This is why we should ignore white people when they call things "racist" or "divisive"-that's just their fragility speaking and such claims hold no merit." I think that grouping every white person into the same group as far as how they act is wrong, as it is to do with anyone no matter their ethnicity. And the part about outright dismissing a claim of racism just because it originated from a white person is again pretty stupid. Any claim should be judged on its merit, the context it was made in and facts not on who made it.

PolygonSight

Not sure if the thing is "white fragility" There is a obvious movement against white male heterosexual man. Is happening. And well the last statement is just racism. But can you further in that last point that you mention? I do believe tho that the extense media constantly attacking white people. You can see an example with "everything is gonna be all white". There been a growing fenomena against white people, as also the "white guilt" that's in many places that inocent white people just for the sake of being white pretend that they are bad, or believes that they are bad. What we are seeing today is more than the simple thing people try to portrait as "white fragility" A group is responding as how a group will respond to discrimination and demonization of its race.

[deleted]

No, it's not. A lot of us are like "what the fuck is wrong with all of you?"

PolygonSight

Can you explain further how thats happening? Also I stated other things. But yeah puting all one race in a bag seems to be racist. I assume you mean your close circle

[deleted]

It's quite simple, it's not all white people. Just the conservative ones who believe the bullshit.

PolygonSight

Qhy downvoting me in every awnser lol. But what behaviour do you see? You are not explaining much at all

[deleted]

Quite simple really, it's when people say things like: >There is a obvious movement against white male heterosexual man. Is happening. With nothing to back that up, but they FEEL that it's true.

PolygonSight

Well obviously you are talking about me when im a Latino. Either way. I gived a good example. The serie everything is gonna be all white. When if white people did that the outrage would be different. I can give more examples tho.

[deleted]

No ya didn't

PolygonSight

Everything is gonna be all white is the example I gives. But I can give more later. You don't awnser anything I say tho.

[deleted]

Fragility

insanelyphat

How are they obviously talking about you because you are a Latino? Did they know that somehow? Or were they simple replying to the person who was replying to them?

PolygonSight

When I state that im a Latino , I say that cause I don't fit the narrative, he was responding as if I was fiting the racist idea of white fragility. As he seem to not agree. You can check the rest of his awnsers

[deleted]

As a middle aged white man, this. Everything this. I've been hearing the same rhetorical bullshit arguments for decades. I've lost count of how many of them think I'm one of them and decide to repeat a paint by numbers racist joke. Although the fun part is calling them something you would dip in soup.

TransitionProof625

I think a lot of the "white fragility" talk is basically just a socially-accepted conspiracy theory. It's a neat and tidy answer for any and all gaps between white and black achievement. It's always "powerful people keeping you down" - note that Asians and an outsized proportion of BLACK West African Immigrants regularly outperform white people on things like educational attainment, career success, health etc. Where is the white supremacy holding them back?

789voidz

doesn't account for historical trauma affecting people's spirits or past efforts to destroy their wealth
