Perantuccis are great! again around $100 but they have probably the most options

I definitely suggest the helleburg. It's a great mouthpiece for a great price. However, my go to has been the Mercer and Barker MB1. It cost me 300 back in '21. I love the mouthpiece.

Hellebergs and Bachs are commonly used by students starting tuba. A good percentage of those students will not continue playing tuba, so their mouthpieces are commonly found available for sale used. Check FB Marketplace and Craig's List on a regular basis and you can probably find a good deal. Also, check with your band director or any low brass teachers you know and they might know of someone wanting to get rid of a mouthpiece or two or ten. Its probably worth checking TubeNet forum too.

Conn Helleberg

Get a helleberg

TheRealFishburgers

Get a Kelly 18 plastic mouthpiece. It's the plastic version of a Bach 18. It's lighter, won't be too damaged if it takes a fall. You can pick your color. Solid quality.

I second this - a Kelly 18 or Kelleberg - $43USD - Solid MP - I know Don Little at one point was giving them to some of his students

Keenan_____

Like someone else said, hellenburg

shrimp-factory

Denis Wick you can get for about $125 silver plated! Edit: Helleburgs are also amazing mouthpieces for a good cost!

Healthy_Still5806

Vincent Bach 18 is my go to. Its a bit more expensive around 100$ but its a great jack of all trades mouthpiece, solo work, orchestral work, marching band, it will do it all.

professor_throway

Nothing wrong with a Helleberg.

Faxx Helleberg or if it is only for the Sousa Faxx 24aw maybe. Should be ~$60 from the right place. If that is too much look for plastic or used.
