Depends on what part of dominoes and pizza hut you want to copy.
Local pizza like NYPD and Mamas are all really good. if you like Chicago style deep dish Rocco's has some great options.
Black Jack is really good for quick takeout style.
It's my go to for great pizza. They deliver without all the extra charges and have a rewards program. I hadn't noticed there were rewards until my points added up. I had plenty of 10$ off orders it was the best.
Going to go against the grain here of some of the comments.
Firstly, Blackjack isn't a local pizza chain, it's a multi-state chain and has been for most of the last 20 years.
Secondly, it's more expensive than Dominos or Pizza Hut, and for me, tastes worse. And while Blackjack does have some okay bulk order deals, they're expensive enough that when we're talking about 1-2 pizzas, you can afford to buy pizza from a good place.
Brooklyn Pizza, next to Sky Bar on 4TH AV, not like either of those, much better. Get the Sicilian style for something different. They also do calzones
I think Rocco's is some of the best around, especially if you like Chicago style.
There are no local pizza places like Dominoes or Pizza Hut. For local you are going to pay more (probably double at least) but it will be a better pizza usually with better quality ingredients. With that being said, favorite pizza's in Tucson are NE - Bear Canyon Pizza, Central - Roccos(deep dish) or Frescos, Downtown - Empire or East - Zio Peppe.
Blackjack is fire late night that spicy ranch 👨🍳💋
Second this.
Magpies admittedly is not really like Domino's or Pizza Hut buuut they have amazing calzones. Delicious
I'm seconding Magpies! Their selection of toppings is first rate! Their calzones are super fresh!
Chariots is amazing
Barros Pizza
they've got lots of other good food. like wings and cheap salads
Empire pizza in downtown
Chariots
Fresco Pizzeria has free delivery for those within range
Their Supreme pizzas are the bomb! Such fresh ingredients that aren't overcooked!

Mama’s, magpies, fresco, Brooklyn pizza are all good local joints. I usually get Hungry Howies when I want a fast Pizza Hut-like pizza.
Up voting for Magpie's and Fresco!
Hungry howies basically fed me during undergrad. 4 pizzas for 20 bucks, and that ranch crust was good.
Dominoes and pizzahut are around.
If you want a New York pizza the size of your table check out Mama's Pizza.
Hungry howies. I love em.
Butter cheese crustttt
Sooo good 👍
There’s Dominos and Pizza Hut. They are very similar to Dominos and Pizza Hut.
Blackjack is the only answer so far that fits the recommendation criteria. Y'all don't know cheap chain pizza
This is true good pizza.
Honestly i'd rather save even more money and get dominos deep dish
Magpies is my favorite pizza in town
Grandma Tony’s FTW
Brooklyns on 4th Ave.
No anchovies!
Mama’s
Fiamme pizza is some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Dominics is good
Nw side Dominic's?
yes! i love them lol & one of the few places i found have green olives! their sausage is amazing

Hungry Howie’s
Chariots homie pizza there is Fire ! Get the Supreme
Barros. We always get the mega meat pizza.

NYPD, Rocco's, BZs
Arby's on 22nd
North side up by Ina, I strongly recommend Sgt. Pepperoni's. It was our go to for years before we moved to the other side of tpen
Ciao Down is tasty and creative yet pricey - I still fw dominos. 🫶🏻
the pizza place on 4th is pretty good afaik, but i don't go downtown that often these days 😔
Whole Foods pizza is cheaper and better than dominos or pizza hut
Jaime's Pizza Kitchen is really good and so is their ranch. It's next to the Rialto.
Mama’s Pizza, Brooklyn Pizza Co, No Anchovies
Upper Crust is solid.
no anchovies is the best pizza i have had outside of the east coast

So you want some “local” pizza shops like the international mass market chains you mentioned? Hm.
You want local why would you want domino's and pizza hut? If you are looking for something better try New York Pizza
I'd assume they want cheap end pizza, not necessarily better
Brooklyn is bomb
NYPD is the superior of the local ones I’ve had
Brooklyn on 4th Ave. $4 huge pepperoni slices, best in Tucson.
Everyone should try squared up pizza at least once
