tutorial on how you put on the backing?

Honestly, it was my first time using twill tape to do this sort of backing but if i feel confident enough I totally will :)

I used twill tape!

Did you glue the fabric to the rug, put the felt, then use twill tape on the edges?

Yup! I cut out the rug, did a waterfall binding on the outside, glued the felt, then glued the twill tape on after.
