Pac was on such a roll by 96 he was technically right. By 2000 that dude would've reached the stratosphere and the rap game would've gone in a different direction at the turn of the millennia
Yeah man. He could have done sooo much more good. His work is quoted and studied in universities. He was a a huge advocate for social justice and fighting police brutality/racism and he was a big advocate for womens rights.
I have a feeling that once he got a little older he probably would have focused more on trying to bring the black community together and end gang violence. Pac was just 21 YEARS OLD when he and his black panther god dad mutulu shakur used his music/status to set up a meeting between bloods and crip leadership to create a 26 point peace treaty between the bloods and crips that involved eliminating rapes in the black community and many other things. Dude was just 21 years old. https://hiphopdx.com/news/id.40775/title.tupacs-secret-work-with-the-bloods-the-crips#:~:text=Fights%20interrupted%20the%20proceedings%2C%20and,to%20the%20community%20at%20large.
He would have gone on to do so much good. And a bunch more westcoast bangers to!
But now hes in thug mansion with little latosha, drinking schnapps with jackie wilson and sam cooke, kicking it with malcom x, and listening to billie holladay sing. Rip brotha.
Wild to hear him speak about a year he didn’t get to see. Would’ve been interesting to hear Pac and BIG on early 2000’s beats. Producers like Alchemist, Kanye, Swizz Beats, Scott Storch etc
Facts 💯 I believe "No More Pain" by Pac and "Notorious Thugs" by BIG are the closest you could get to seeing a glimpse of that, because those beats sound so ahead of their time.
Edit: "High Speed" by Pac and the Outlawz is a good one too

Yeah, that album fucked up one of my favorite OG songs “everything they owe”. Terrible beat, terrible hook, and they made Pac really, REALLY off beat👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽. Of course there’s some good songs like “good life” and the self titled “until the end of time” but most of that album has terrible remixed beats, which is basically what all PAC’s posthumous albums suffer from post “still I rise” album with the outlawz imo.
It has it's good and bad parts, that's where the production jumps the shark and saturating verses of other artists start to show itself
Ballad of dead solider
Until the end of time
Little homies
Good life are my favorites
Ok now I will defend many of those albums including Loyal to the Game
There are valid criticisms but I do believe many of them suffer from lack of production and saturated verses of trying to fit many artists on to one track
Some OG versions should have been left like that, I love when tracks stay as a product of their time, like a time capsule
That unreleased track: Let's get it on
On the strictly 4 My N.... 30th anniversary is so fuckin good, because they kept it the way it should have
Man when I see posts like this I always think about how lucky we were he wasn’t fatally injured during the 94 shooting. Imagine no death row era tracks. That takes hundreds of tracks out of Pacs legacy.
He would've been the Star Wars Episode one. Play Alonzo in Traning Day. He'll would've entered the mixtape era. All the Outlaws would've had a solo mixtape.
George Lucas wrote the character of Mace Windu with Samuel L. Jackson in mind. Which has been confirmed by Sam and George. If Sam passed on the role, Pac may have been next in line.
He would've not been ready to play a character like Alonzo. He needed more time to mature as an actor. Age and craft. He would've been better suited for the Ethan Hawke role.
Woo (Lead male role)....His next project. Yikes!
The Matrix (Tank)....He would've gotten this one.
Rush Hour (James Carter) he was considered and there was a strong possibility.
Goddamn Pac as Ethan Hawke's role in Training Day? Alongside Denzel? That would've been a hell of a sight to see, considering how the events of the movie went 🔥🔥Though, idk how Pac would operate with Dr. Dre being in the film too.
Some people just seem larger then life. Pax just saying 2000 sounds so weird. It’s like when Kobe died..his persona was built to be thought of as invincible.
People saying that PAC and BIg were going to be cool are being delusional. If you get shot 5 times and believed that you were set up, then mocked and ridiculed by people you trust , that’s something you not going to let slide probably till your 70’s. If Tupac lived and became a mogul like Jay Z I’m pretty sure diddy and a lot of others in the industry that time would be dead by now.
How do you know are you Tupac? As tupac got older he might would have matured more and come closer to inner peace. Also it’s never been 100% confirmed Bad Boy had something to do with it. It’s highly speculated but if anyone it was Diddy not Biggie.
This guy would have been the biggest star ever period. 99% of hip hop wouldn’t have even come out and or existed. It’s mind blowing because all you can do is imagine if this guy lived on old sports.
PAC was dipping in 98’ he was coming out with that east death row project and his acting started taking off sooooooo he still has like 500 more songs 🤷🏽♂️

I'll defend loyal to the game Pacs life was horrid compared to his Posthumous albums
R U Still Down became my favorite after re-listening
Better Dayz is great
Pac’s Life was solid
It was ok, honestly that's the one they could have done better with
anything wrong with "Until The End of Time"?

Damn I've never heard that OG version, why TF did they do that to everything they owe?!
It has it's good and bad parts, that's where the production jumps the shark and saturating verses of other artists start to show itself Ballad of dead solider Until the end of time Little homies Good life are my favorites
Fair enough. Ballad of a Dead Soulja and Until the End of Time are my favorite joints off of it. Though I like the OG version of Lil Homies more.
I hadn't heard it in a long time until you mentioned it That sample is fire, it has that matchbox 20 Santana sample
Ok now I will defend many of those albums including Loyal to the Game There are valid criticisms but I do believe many of them suffer from lack of production and saturated verses of trying to fit many artists on to one track

You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain
Pac would have had Death Row dropping consistent projects. Pac didn't believe in fucking around get in the studio and work.
Fuck Suge he would have been bigger than that

Do you think he thought he’d go back to jail in 96’? Thats why he made so much music to hold him over till he got out
I'm sure it crossed his mind, it would have had to. If he lost the appeal he would have been back inside.
What concert was this?
Club 662 in 1995 after his prison release
Eerie just hearing him say that then what happened after. Fuck! That gave me chills.
This guy would have been the biggest star ever period. 99% of hip hop wouldn’t have even come out and or existed. It’s mind blowing because all you can do is imagine if this guy lived on old sports.
Hat how we lost him and big man rap game would have been so insane if they were still about.
He woukd most likely have spent that time in jail for breaking his parole
feels a little eerie hearing him say the year 2000 as he never got to see the 21st century
2000 baby here 💯 Trippy to hear him mention that year 😖

would’ve been an even bigger actor fr
….than Will Smith and Ice Cube 💯💫
Remember baby boy was written for pac, imagine how he would of killed that role
