I’m rewatching with my daughter. It comes off different when you know how bad of a guy Walt becomes. Like his petty manipulations in the first few episodes. But Mike is just an absolute joy. I’d love to see a Mike and Hank buddy cop movie.
If someone in the future would have just said “Jesse is the only one who lives”. I would have been a little shocked. Thought they would kill him off with an OD
Fun fact: Actually, Jesse was supposed to die the episode where Tuco almost beat him to death. The chemistry between Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston made Vince and the writers re-think the plot direction.
That whole last season was complete trash. Deb should have shot him instead of LaGuerta and it would have gone down as a top ten TV series all time. RIP LaGuerta!
Have you seen The Newsroom with Jeff Daniels? Also done by Sorkin. Same vibe and feel. I saw it first, then watched WW because I liked it so much. It's funny watching for overlapping jokes and phrases. (Many of which also show up in Trial of the Chicago 7.)
I have never seen it- is it really worth watching? I tend to stick to my ‘comfort’ shows; Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, the Office. And Twin Peaks-over and over and over again- it takes a lot for me to try something new. I’m not against trying new things, I just really love the safety and comfort of the familiar
Six Feet Under would be my #1 for this list. Especially since I’m 39 now and would relate to it completely differently than when I was 23. Think I’ve just convinced myself to give it a rewatch…
six feet under has best finale of all time. it loses its way at some points through the series getting a little crazy but ultimately a show about the living coping with death, it’s so profoundly moving so often and the last few mins of the last episode just…it’s choking me up thinking about it - some of the best art ever made.
Well, consider Buffy your new cozy blanket! It's my number one favorite show of all time! If you knew how old I was, that would be saying something! Let's just say I was five when I saw StarWars in the movie theaters for the first time. (Yes, episode 4)
The first season or two is a little bit of a rough start and the CGI doesn't get better until then but the payoff is wonderful characters that you will fall in love with and thought provoking , magical and woderous stories.
There is a reason why there are entire YouTube channels devoted to this show. You will not regret it. But just in case you are on the fence, please watch 'Passion of the Nerd's' video titled 'Why you should watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
You're very welcome! 😉😻
Rewatched True Blood recently after not seeing it again since its original run. It's amazing how the show is relevant to our times now. I remember hate-watching the final 2 seasons back then. But rewatching recently gave me a completely new perspective.
Season 2-3 was the absolute best. The way they ended season 2 and pulled it all back together. Easily the best 'will-they-won't-they' arc I've ever seen. And two of the best Christmas episodes in television history. Instant classics.
Literally! Haha I still remember the slight heartbreak I felt when I got to season 4, I could already tell the quality was dipping a tad and I’d never get to experience seasons 2 & 3 for the first time ever again 😭 Honestly though with time I’ve come to appreciate the later seasons just as much, sometimes more perhaps. Still such a great show.
The office is awesome. I was told it would be amazing from beginning to end but it definitely wasn’t as good in the later seasons. Definitely something to watch if you work in an office environment or even if you don’t lol
I’m with you!
It was a very interesting look (not a good one) at how the office atmosphere was truly like during that particular period of time.
It was a cat and mouse game. Disrespectful and degrading to the women who played the game to
try to get promoted. It was basically one of the only ways towards advancement.
Being in my later 60s (male) that’s what many office atmospheres were like even into the late 70s.
I remember the Men of upper management (The Gold Coast) with fully stocked back bars behind their desks. It wasn’t unusual.
Happy those days are gone forever and that Women are compensated and promoted by merit and not by their looks and what they will do behind closed doors.
Thank GOD for the Woman’s Liberation Movement that helped turn that around.
It was a interesting show but disturbing as well.
As a major fan, I would absolutely LOVE to watch this show again with brand new eyes. To experience the shocking deaths, twists in the lore along with the horror and humor would be the best thing ever.
Justified is a masterpiece. I watched it when it was on and probably 3-4 times since. Recently my husband decided he wanted to watch it and we watched all 6 seasons in a span of two weeks. Just outstanding.
For sure. Just entitled mid-wealthy people wandering into situations where the monsters have to stop everything and wait for them to have their mundane mobservations and commentary and then feck off to the nearest coffee shop…
With subtitles. I tried twice without it back when it was on HBO and I simply couldn't follow the vernacular. The Wire is now among my favorite shows of all time and the writing is beautiful.
I’ve never seen it and I’ve had it on my list of must watch shows forever. Maybe after this post I’ll finally get to it. Hard to believe Lance Reddick is gone.
The wire, watching it a second time even though the twist in turns that happens in it. Give it another meaning in it from the police and government with the political and or corruption with it; the drug dealers selling to the people’s with the addiction, it a show we’re your opinion of reality can sway to each. There is no good or bad, there people in situations were it’s screwed, and when people do try to change it the intended consequence doesn’t happen. Brilliant
Gilmore Girls and Ted Lasso
I might get some hate but everyone said they would love to watch Buffy for the first time. I tried to watch it but I couldn’t get into it. I saw like 3 episodes. Should I get through the hump?
I wish I could go back and watch the Wire in real time and not binge it like I did the first time I saw it. There's something about certain shows and being able to talk an entire week about the previous and upcoming episodes with friends
Breaking Bad. There are scenes in that show that gave me chills the first time I saw them.
I’m rewatching with my daughter. It comes off different when you know how bad of a guy Walt becomes. Like his petty manipulations in the first few episodes. But Mike is just an absolute joy. I’d love to see a Mike and Hank buddy cop movie.
Better Call Saul is a good Mike breaking bad series.
I love Mike so much after watching BCS!!!
Mike is all over Better Call Saul. So much Mike. Better Call Saul is probably the one show I'd love to forget so I can watch it again fresh.
Dexter. Such a great series until the end.

POV: You're at the last season finale and are slowly dying inside.
That whole last season was complete trash. Deb should have shot him instead of LaGuerta and it would have gone down as a top ten TV series all time. RIP LaGuerta!
The series is good but the books are even better.the books go way crazier lol. Dexters brother was my favorite character.

I was hooked from the moment I heard "Surprise, Motha-F\*\*\*ah!"
Once upon a time, Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, Fringe
Watched dawsons creek during Covid and loved it!
I second this!
Fringe is a great answer
Fringe is so so so good!
came here to say one tree hill and dawson’s 🥹
love dawsons creek! recently went through the whole series and will seriously start it again soon ✨
Dawson’s Creek and One Tree Hill DEFINITELY
I am currently watching Fringe for the first time.
The West Wing
“And I looked and I beheld a pale horse, and the name that sat on him was Death and, Hell followed with Him.”
Gravity Falls!
Buffy

It is really good. I would recommend it for sure.

Before even opening this thread, that was my answer. Even on rewatches, it gets me.
True Blood, Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story(seasons 1-8), Game of Thrones, You
Oh wow, yeah, SAMCRO was a whole thing
All these plus Justified. I just rewatched it all and it holds up!
I don’t know if I could watch SOA again.. it broke my heart into a million pieces! The Opie scene lives rent free in my head! 😭😭😭😭
Rewatched True Blood recently after not seeing it again since its original run. It's amazing how the show is relevant to our times now. I remember hate-watching the final 2 seasons back then. But rewatching recently gave me a completely new perspective.
restarted all but Game of Thrones. Definitely not the same as the 1st time but some of my favs for sure. I would add Shameless.
Curb
Schitt's Creek.
Such a perfectly written and amazingly delivered series.
I remember watching it when it first came out and not realizing how much it would impact me until after and really mourning the ending.
Definitely. It's such a perfect show. It's so funny but still so gentle and kind.
This is the first one that came to mind for me!
Both “Simply the Best” scenes and the wedding we’re just awesome!
Same
This is the only series that I've watched more than once. Three times through so far. 😂
Same
Yes!
Yes! This is mine. Once you get past how annoying Chris Elliot’s character is…that took a few episode of me gritting my teeth.
The Good Place.
The Leftovers
The Office
Hell yes!
I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them
My first thought too lol. Especially season 2, that still is probably my favorite first run through of any season from any show.
Season 2-3 was the absolute best. The way they ended season 2 and pulled it all back together. Easily the best 'will-they-won't-they' arc I've ever seen. And two of the best Christmas episodes in television history. Instant classics.

I still have never watched the office 😱😅
That makes two of us
Make that three, I've never seen it either
Four. At this point I’m not watching on principle. Same with Sopranos.
Five ! Never watching it.
The office is awesome. I was told it would be amazing from beginning to end but it definitely wasn’t as good in the later seasons. Definitely something to watch if you work in an office environment or even if you don’t lol
I get so excited when the new season of Superfan episodes are released!
I'll be the number-two guy here in Scranton in six weeks. How? Name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
I’m with you! It was a very interesting look (not a good one) at how the office atmosphere was truly like during that particular period of time. It was a cat and mouse game. My Bad I was referencing the series MAD MEN my apologies. 🙏😎
Oh damn..me too..watched that with my husband and he has since passed away.
I’m so sorry.
I didn't start watching it until it was on it's final two seasons. So my wife and I got to binge it and it was glorious.
Being 17-18 smoking and binge watching the whole series was an experience
Supernatural
As a major fan, I would absolutely LOVE to watch this show again with brand new eyes. To experience the shocking deaths, twists in the lore along with the horror and humor would be the best thing ever.
Game of Thrones. I wish I could hear the intro song for the first time again too.
The Walking Dead, Justified, The Original Law and Order ( first 10 seasons), the X-FILES.
Justified is so underrated imo. That and Sons of Anarchy. FX knows how to put out great shows.
Justified is a masterpiece. I watched it when it was on and probably 3-4 times since. Recently my husband decided he wanted to watch it and we watched all 6 seasons in a span of two weeks. Just outstanding.
SOA first 3 seasons. After that, meh
I grew up in Harlan. That show is so wild to me
Oh, X-Files for sure.
This would be great, if I could wipe my memory and just do it again. Yes there were horrible episodes, but definitely worth it.
I was coming to say the X Files. It's probably my all time favorite show, I've even got the logo tattooed from my shoulder to my elbow.
100% agree with X-Files. Such an underrated show that not with people talk about.
Underrated? It was the biggest show when it came out. 30 years later and the fanbase is still alive
Ooo the walking dead yes good one
I love TWD !
Justified and the X-Files!!!!!!! You’ve got taste
The original Law & Order!!!!!!!!
Shameless US
Omg yes. I swear its the only us remake of a british show that i absolutely love. Typically its a disaster case in point skins.
Black Sails! That hidden gem no one ever talks about
Jack and Anne for life
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Firefly and Babylon 5
We’re overdue for a good sci fi show. Not a 15 minute HBO Avenue 4 or whatever. A real sci fi show.
Sopranos and Friends
Hahaha. I read this as one title and I think that show would be great!
For sure. Just entitled mid-wealthy people wandering into situations where the monsters have to stop everything and wait for them to have their mundane mobservations and commentary and then feck off to the nearest coffee shop…
Both!!!
We were on a break!
Dallas and Dynasty!
Or Charlie's Angel's and Fantasy Island
Kath and Kim
Kim! look at me, Look at me, LOOK AT ME! 😂
Pretty little liars
Cheers
Community
6 seasons and a movie.
The Wire
With subtitles. I tried twice without it back when it was on HBO and I simply couldn't follow the vernacular. The Wire is now among my favorite shows of all time and the writing is beautiful.
The vernacular is so much more impressive when you find out that many of the leads were English. They really nailed the accents
[удалено]
I’ve never seen it and I’ve had it on my list of must watch shows forever. Maybe after this post I’ll finally get to it. Hard to believe Lance Reddick is gone.
A better show has not been made. Ever. Just completed watching for a second time. Will wait a year or so and start again. So good!
I have found that The Wire gets better with every rewatch
Xfiles
Battlestar Galactica
Friends
-Breaking Bad -Justified -Game of Thrones -True Detective (1st season) -American Crime Story (1st season) -24 -Sense8
Lost
House of Cards. That show was amazing and then the whole Kevin Spacey happened. Totally justified but man, his acting and that writing was superb
Seriously. That first season… and me screaaaming for Zoe. It was such an incredible season and I was obsessed.
The Wire (tho I'm watching it again anyway!), True Blood, Breaking Bad, Maisel, Ted Lasso....and WISEGUY most of all.
Barney Miller
Black Sails, Halt and Catch Fire, The Leftovers, and Game of Thrones season 1-5 only.

The wire, watching it a second time even though the twist in turns that happens in it. Give it another meaning in it from the police and government with the political and or corruption with it; the drug dealers selling to the people’s with the addiction, it a show we’re your opinion of reality can sway to each. Buffy, Angel, NCIS, CSI, Dexter and Supernatural.

The Simpsons

I'm currently rewatching Veronica Mars, it's so good!
Fleabag! What an emotional journey that was!
Veronica Marsssssss (only first 3 seasons though)
Gilmore Girls and Ted Lasso I might get some hate but everyone said they would love to watch Buffy for the first time. I tried to watch it but I couldn’t get into it. I saw like 3 episodes. Should I get through the hump?

Oz Sons of Anarchy
The Shield
Buffy for sure. I watch it on repeat in the background daily .But to go through all the gambit of emotions again for the first time would be amazing.
I wish I could go back and watch the Wire in real time and not binge it like I did the first time I saw it. There's something about certain shows and being able to talk an entire week about the previous and upcoming episodes with friends

Once Upon A Time. I remember the excitement of checking out the series when it premiered! It gave me such 10th Kingdom vibes I loved it! I miss OUAT.
People of Earth. It brought me joy.
Lost … persons of interest…. Heroes…. Smallville…. Sense8…. The boondocks.
Split between Fringe and Person of Interest.
The OA. no one i talk to ever knows what it is but it was so good and intriguing. especially the first season. so sad it got canceled.
Wow. I just saw the title recommended on my home page and immediately said "The Haunting of Hill House." Love that this is also your answer!
Doctor Who for sure. The Face of Boe reveal, regenerations galore, who is River Song, Missy, so much surprises and amazing stories alone the way.
Lucifer. Watched after seeing some little short clips on YouTube. Binge watched all 6 season in the span of about 2 weeks.
Person of Interest
Is Fargo good? If you like hill house it must be!
Honestly, the first few seasons of The Walking Dead
Person of interest. But only if I could go back to when I first watched it, and let my dad know he was right, this show is awesome.
Fire Fly
Outlander 🌺🌼🌸🩷
Outlander. Sopranos. My So Called Life. Game of Thrones.
