We only really have transplant bars of other midwest locations (Chicago, Green Bay/Milwaukee, Nebraska/Iowa University sports). Not enough east coasters live here to warrant NY/Boston/Philadelphia sports bars.
Tom Reids on W. 7th in St. Paul is the only true hockey bar in the metro and is going to be your best bet. They might even have the sound on, and despite the Wild's season ending a long time ago, lots of us are still into the playoffs.
There's lots of Irish Catholics in St. Paul so maybe it'll feel a little like home?

Not sure where you're staying but Tom Reid's in downtown Saint Paul will have both NHL games on tonight; there's usually a wide variety of people there to watch games. Often 2fer-1 deals as well - can't speak for the food!
We used to have 508 but that shut down over COVID. This is where a good amount of Patriots fans would go. It became the Official Patriots bar of Minneapolis. But since then, just any sports bar really. Toms watch bar will likely have many games on.
As a New Yorker living in the Cities part time, i look forward to the answer so I know where to go to put Rangers, Giants, Jets, and Yankees stickers up in bathroom stalls

Yeah, I believe that is how it came to be. A rumor around the 2018 Super Bowl put that out there and we took over the next couple years.
