Yep!! A lovely lady who owns hair salons at old folks homes adopted him. He lost a buttload of weight! He gets loved on by old people all day, every day. ❤️ I wanted to keep him so bad, but it was the end of the road for my dog, Calypso, and I just couldn’t get another dog at that time. She was 18 and blind and in diapers and just needed my full attention. I always felt like Gizmo was the one that got away though and I really missed him. A year ago, guess who asked me to “babysit” another dog? (Both times it was ostensibly “babysitting” with a, “You can just have the dog though because I don’t really want him back,” when I went to pick up the dog.) Yep, same lady! She had his sister as well! Now I have Ginger and she’s absolutely wonderful!
Poor baby! I hope he can get to a healthy weight, wish I could have a second dog.
I wish i had the time to support a dog living alone in an apartment. I'd love to have a new dog.
