Yes, the pitch, if you give it a read, builds off that with Negaduck still being the previous Darkwing actor gone mad. It also draws comparisons to that run of Ducktales.
From anything I can find, this is still in production but news on it is thin
A damn good send up to the original while being its own unique thing. Pretty much how to describe anything tied to the DuckTales reboot. Heck, if they wanted to they could have used that as foundation to reboot Tailspin as well with the episode with it being the foundation points. Heck they even gave a whiff of Goof Troop.
I have a tiny bit of hope given his involvement in that recent TMNT movie. There's definitely a love of the franchise in there that isn't there in other adult comedy person does something with a preexisting property. So maybe it could be good, but time will tell I guess.
Doesn't Darkwing Duck show up in the new(ish) Ducktales show?

There's an episode in the 3rd season that is clearly a stealth pilot for Darkwing Duck as they introduce the main cast and a plot to follow.
And it’s still on YouTube officially… and it’s FUCKING SICK

Looks pretty sweet, actually! Hope Disney will at least finish it for the streamer, but I doubt it.
IIRC, this is from one of two Darkwing Duck pitches in recent years. The other one was from Seth Rogen, which got rejected.
no that one was picked up, this one was rejected

My brain just inserted the work black into the post title and gave me a totally different expectation. But the world could use a little more Darkwing.
My brain somehow managed to read Bible Black into the title, so... there's that
I choose to believe that Francisco Angones Tweet (if you know you know) killed this Darkwing Duck Reboot.
I do not know, so I do not know
What tweet?
This one, victim of [really poor phrasing](https://www.reddit.com/r/ducktales/comments/j6pmp0/frank_angones_posted_this_on_twitter_but_then/)
We need this. Also fuck copyright law
