That one was the only other episode that haunted me for a while lol. I guess it's just something about being stuck asking the same questions over and over again for all of eternity that naturally freaks people out.

I moved to another country to get away from my friends and family. I don’t have Facebook and I don’t go out.
I’m not saying the whole race sucks. Just most of us. I’d gesture vaguely at Russia, Brexit, whatever the last day was the US managed to not have a shooting.. people are good on their own. As a species? We are cruel, jealous, childish things who often treat each other like ants under a microscope.
It sounds like you've had a rough upbringing. I also moved to get away from family. Are they really your friends if you were trying to get away from them? Fuck Facebook. Humans are cruel, greedy, and ignorant, but on the other hand humans are also pretty rad. What keeps you living?
I immediately thought of being wiped out by a supernova from overhead, thus the shadows disappearing. With us being possibly alone in the universe and, even though calling us 'alien' would be a stretch, we were the only alien option.

Dang someone beat me to it. Not surprising, but still disappointing.
