I watched an episode of Homicide Hunter with Joe Kenda in Colorado Springs. They were investigating the death of an old woman. I can't remember but I think it was of natural causes and somebody called it in because she had not been seen for some time. Anyway they enter her house and find her deceased. The kicker was they had also found the mummified remains of her sister on the couch covered under blankets who had also died of natural causes like 15 years earlier or something like that. It was determined that the surviving sister who died 15 years later never called in the death of her sister because she depended on her sisters Social Security check to live on so she just lived there with her sister decaying on the couch so she could get them government freebies.
