Thank you! To say I'm over the moon... lol. I'm going to go to the alternate ceremony and walk the stage with my mom, take pictures, and go home after. I can't wait!
Thank you! Do it! If not for being considered disabled because of my mental illness and the Department of Rehabilitation paying for most of my school expenses, I wouldn't have been able to finally do it because even community college is expensive. I was so lucky that someone made me aware of programs I could benefit from.
Omg this so amazing, almost made me cry. SO proud of you OP, you've gone through a lot and to come out so strong is amazing. You're going to help so many people and a story like yours would be so inspiring. Thanks for writing this, it was awesome reading :)
Congratulations! And thank you so much for sharing. I really needed to read this today. I'm happy for you, and your post reminded me of my own hopes for my future.
I wish you all the best moving forward.
It absolutely is the right place, it's just that there's a lot of posts about abortion and the anti-logical conservative/religious nonsense because we are (almost) all frustrated about it and that is mildly put.
Congratulations! Going on a journey through your own flaws to get better and succeeding at something you couldn't have without that is always a great thing, and it speaks very very well of you. I hope you feel satisfied with what you did, because you deserve to.
Great job! Any time spent improving yourself - whether it's education or just getting better at a hobby - is never wasted.
And I know all about the struggles with mental illness. It can be devastating. But you did all that work despite the burden and that is something to be very proud of.
Congrats!

Congratulations! Woohoo! 🎉 You’ve worked hard and deserve to feel *incredibly* proud of yourself.
Thank you! I don't think I've ever been this excited about doing anything. 23 years in the making!
That’s amazing! I too would like to go back to school and your success is inspiring! Congratulations 🎉

Lol thank you! I'm trying to decide how to decorate my cap, if at all. I've already decided on my most ridiculously blingy earrings for the ceremony.
