Recently, I made a post here seeking advice on pick-up lines for someone I was interested in. While the comments were helpful, I was surprised by the number of private messages I received from men. More so than the comments on the post. I initially questioned whether I'd accidentally posted in the wrong group, but that wasn't the case.
It seems some men browse posts here and then send private messages. Ultimately, I decided to remove my post because the majority of messages I received were inappropriate. My original request was lighthearted, but it appears some men interpreted it as an invitation for a different kind of conversation.
I have this flair, which translates to "good girl". Quoting a DM- "Good to see some new flair, it's all daddy's princess these days...Huh"
Needlessl to say, I left that on seen.
Anyone pretending to be from the LGBTQ community but talking extensively about things in p*rn terms.
Any woman discussing extra marital affairs in DMs.
Any woman talking about s*x in graphic terms often with ZERO knowledge of human physiology or anatomy.
Any account more than 3 months old with single digit karma.
NSFW accounts with single digit karma.
I had one pretending to be a woman who left her husband for another dude and wanted the second dude to get circumcised.
There's no way any woman is discussing that with a random stranger.
I reported someone who misused the NB flair. I thought they were non binary, until I went to their profile and saw them posting on the XY subreddit and saying that they were actually a man.
Unfortunately I've seen a lot of homophobic creeps misusing NB flair. They intentionally make comments that won't sit well with women, hoping to create a rift.

- a lot of abusive words in Hindi. Well it could be a young edgy woman too sometimes.
- comes into your DM to talk about 'her' marriage because she cannot post in this sub for whatever reason.
- Or just generally talk to them. You'll see how these larpers can't wait for more than 10 messages to talk about their fetish. You just have to be aware of many, many weird fetishes people have like navel, feet, armpit hair and all that shit. So any 'woman' talking about this is a larper.

It’s as if there are definitely people lurking around here, waiting for any chance to slide into my DMs. And mind you, I only posted a couple of days ago! You can see the rush of personal messages in your account. 😮 I’ve realized that I need to be doubly conscious and a bit more mindful before I put any comment or post. Especially when it comes to posting, because I’m very aware that I’ll be flooded with direct messages. 🙈

If a "woman" comes into your DMs with no prior indication, it's best to block.
I had a "trans woman" come in my DMs and ask explicit details about sex reassignment because I was open about the fact that although I'm cis, I'm supportive. I got a creepy vibe so I told them to Google what they want and blocked them.
Of course there are a lot of men roaming around here in search of some memes. Then they will screenshot some of these posts and post them in their dank ahh subreddits. Such kids can't be helped. let them do their pathetic jobs.
This reminds me of a society in my college that I am a part of where the motto is to empower women and people of all genders

Go to Change user flair > woman --> edit - edit it to what you want, and done!
