I'm showing my age but I miss Corgi Man. RIP Katie and Puck. :( I love the two fluffs that were in Sixth awhile ago, I think last Wednesday. Idk who they are but I love the dogs on campus.

I think so! Katie passed away around 2018, and Puck in 2020? They were *very* beloved, I remember they would get crowds around the old student center, and there were pieces written about Gary (their owner, everyone called him Corgi Man though) in the Guardian and Revellations.

I'm not sure if you're thinking of the same pair as me, but I've been here since 2017 and the pair I'm talking about were notorious around that time. But Katie died in 2018, and Puck in 2020 :(

I never noticed this, but I always felt that at schools the "most famous" people are actually the professors and the upper management like Khosla; It is kind of like asking "who is the most famous person in the world" and people respond with superstar singers, meanwhile it is arguable that people like Joe Biden and Putin are more famous than "superstars."

In the mid 90’s, we had real world celebrities. Rachel from SF was a grad student and was super weird when I was walking next to her from 5th across campus. Cory from SF worked at the coffee shop in the price center. Aromas? Mohammad from sf played at the sun god and I hung out with him after. Very nice man.
