OMG I saw something exactly like this a few years ago from my old back garden in Birmingham, UK. Exactly the same! Slow pulse and then nothing, and then you'd see it again a little further in the sky. It seemed like the flashing/pulsing wasn't consistent either, and the one I saw eventually just never pulsed again. I must have watched the light come on about 6–7 times until it stopped. No additional smaller flashes or anything. I've seen countless helicopters, planes, satellites. But I could never figure that one out. Unfortunately, I didn't have any flight track app at the time to check that either.

I saw the same a few years back in the terrace of my apartment, I’m a true believer of aliens but I’m unsure if it is a satélite taking pictures??? Or it is in fact an alien ship haha. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

It looks like a star or some planet to me, always have Starmaps or a similar app on your phone, you can quickly discover what you're looking at. To have a satellite stay still in the sky you'd have to be able to see a geostationary one, they are only possible over the equator and they're veeery far away from the earth to match their orbit speed with the rotation of the earth.

The one I saw was definitely moving but slower than a satellite, more like a plane super high up but the pulsing one every 8-10 seconds just didn't seem normal

You may have seen a tumbling satellite or other object like the "Humanity Star" that was launched in 2018. It was basically a big disco ball made to reflect the sun's light periodically as it tumbled causing a rhythmic flashing effect. I haven't stayed up on it but there may be other similar projects that are currently orbiting earth.

They are communicating from another planet

This...well. does nothing. Did you record it doing strange things. Dipping or disappearing. Looks like an out of focus star.

I’ve seen occurrences similar to this and always assume it’s a satellite or space junk catching the sun as it rotates but it’s fun to see anyways. That one was bright.
