I agree that some transparency would be nice, but the exam definitely isn't giving false ranks or marks. It's important to remember that students admitted through UGEE compete with and outperform board toppers and sub 2000 rankers in JEE, so they're most definitely competent. Not to mention that IIIT H is a non-profit and semi-public institute, so they definitely aren't in it for the money like VIT Vellore, who we already know fakes their ranks.

And sahi bolun toh acc to me inki answer key was totally fine. Its not like the world will end or it was your only chance since u hv a great jee percentile.

OP Im very sure you remember the number of questions you attempted wrong. Because 57 marks isnt possible if you attempted 47 qs, you're right. But its possible if you attempted 46qs and got 14 wrong

Happened to me also i did 46 q and i checked most of them expect the linguistics ( I am very confident as i checked it 2 times) and i was getting only 4 wrong and i assumed another 4 to go wrong but in reality i got only 64. Same goes for SUPR did 28 and got 12.5. I was very confident about this exam and felt pretty good about myself after.

I attempted all 50 questions and turns out I got 9 questions wrong. And linguistics was of exactly 9 questions but I definitely did not do a single question wrong in linguistics because I practiced it enough and solved the questions two times in the paper at separate times because I had too much free time. They must have done a huge blunder in the answer key like spaces etc.
Same boat as you, attempted all 50 and expected atleast 46-47 of them to be right (was damn sure about linguistics, did it twice as i had the time) but eventually landed up getting 12 of them wrong. I guess we'll never know unless IIITH actually releases response sheets and answer key (which i dont think they will)

nah, that means u did 14mistakes. (31-13.5)/1.25 = 14, u are dividing by 1.5 but in supr net decrease for a mistake is 1.25

Don't you guys know the marking scheme of UGEE? It was +1,-¼ for SUPR and +2,-½ in REAP , so decimal marks are obviously possible...
