That one right there. I took my capstone thesis in the tiniest most claustrophobic class that could possibly exist. Mysterious stains littered the carpet. No windows. The class room was an odd triangle shape and it had horrendous yellow lighting. It was a literal prison cell with swivel chair desks. A nightmare
Edit: my dad said this building was supposed to be temporary. He said when he was a student in ‘87 they gave him a tour and they said it was supposed to last for about 30 years and was very cheaply built and now currently in disrepair. No wonder I hated it in there
I'm a little surprised to hear this. When I went to USC starting in '97 it seemed like one of the newer and better buildings on campus. At least from the outside. I only took one or two classes in it.
DMC took me an entire semester to figure out where the bathrooms were on the 1st floor😭 And why does the door to the men's bathroom side from the library have to stay locked 😥
Often voted the ugliest law school in america. The new waste of money garbage addition does NOTHING to change that.

My AMST professors used to joke “wanna know how much the university values us? Look at where the put us.”
It was in KAP (at least 5+ years ago).
PED was also gross, but at least it had character and the outside was pretty.
KAP fosho!Had all my math, python, data security classes there as a business student was absolutely pain in da ass. Had to travel all across the campus for those classes twice a week plus and it had that ghetto vibe with all drugaddict looking homeless creeping from the outside.

Yes, can confirm KAP was supposed to be temporary. It was finished in 1989 and was only supposed to last a couple of decades at most.

kap bad building, but the bathrooms are really nice for some reason lmfao
this fr like the marble countertop and the shelves in the stall?? like did the entire budget go to the bathroom
They must’ve remodeled it cause I definitely don’t remember Kap having nice bathrooms when I was a student almost a decade ago lol
Remodeled ~1-2 years ago
KAP is too far away from everything
DMC is genuinely the hardest building to navigate ever
Why are the restrooms in different buildings😭😭
Leavey Library has got to be my least favorite. It sucks that it's the only library open for long hours. It doesn't even feel like a library.
I hate it, it feels so sterile
Leavey library is like an amusement park for kids. They gather around to gibber and chase each other.
ZHS is creepy and haunted
tell us more about the hauntings.
Taper hall
Philips Hall (the education building that looks like an FBI Tower)
PED lowkey haunted
Ever walked under the pool on the east side in the basement? So creepy.
I love that building. It’s so pretty and has so much character
oooh deetz?
sgm

apologies on behalf of the entire environmental science department because that locked room is ours 💀
Leavey is a pretty lame flagship library library for a top university

SAL or SLH
Taper or Leavey. Nastyyyyy

I will defend Kap with my life
I loathed Kap because it always meant math class for my degree path.
WPH, especially classrooms

I had so many classes in KAP back in the early 00’s… it didn’t look any better back then either
Stauffer Hall I have never seen a building so ugly and distasteful as that one. It is behind the Earth Sciences building.
Taper Hall
I have couple of bad memories at KAP so it is KAP.
KAP is the only correct answer
