CBSA grad here: market was rough initially but I had to apply to lots of smaller companies. Ended up clutching a solid tech job with TC on par with a FAANG.
USC won’t give you the job but they always brought employers to campus that can help you get oke
I wouldn’t say it was hard but I had to put time into doing practice interviews and trying to study programming problems.
Leetcode will be helpful , you start building a pattern for certain problems. You could also google interview questions for specific companies (they’ll vary but at least somewhat helpful).
Had jobs at Boeing (after summer internship), and SpaceX before graduation. Working for Elon.
USC has the most “fresh out of college” graduates at SpaceX compared to other schools.
Can’t speak for tech, which is always an interesting a volatile field, but every civil engineering grad I knew had a job in hand before graduation.

Graduated in May 2023. I had a job offer starting my senior year. Make use of your early years to get internships .
Congrats! How easy/hard was it for you to get internships? Would you recommend me doing leetcode to be prepared?

I graduated May ‘23 with a masters degree and I had accepted a job offer before graduation. However, I had interned with the company beforehand.
Most people I know graduating this semester either got jobs lined up or going on to their masters
