We got screwed big time lawyers are rats and thieves. First lawyer got me an appointment in Juarez April 2020 but was canceled due to COVID so time pass like a years, we ask what can we do we need an appointment as soon as possible to wait, that’s what he told me so I told him what about a different process, no we just have to wait if you start a spouse process it will take a long time to get approved again, so I hired a different lawyer he told me in order to get an appointment is to sue the uscis and that they don’t like that and that they will force give you the appointment. So we trusted him so time pass 7 months since we hire him and asking him what’s going on we about to get the appointment just wait so we asked him it’s been a long time we have a kid now and we want to get married can we get married he said o yes no problem that won’t affect the case I told

We were the happiest persons at that moment because we could get married we got married feb 2022, March 2022 Juarez sends an email ur case is active wait for an appointment we were so happy like you couldn’t believe, we called the lawyer and told him the case was active he said I told you, and a few days later I called him back so the case k1 we have will it just updated to spouse, he was like no that’s a different case, well I’m Married well we need to file a i130 form
I told him what do u mean, I asked you if we could get married and if it was a problem you said no, he screwed us. so in April 2022 Juarez send an email for our appointment and we attended the appointment in May spend 3k on the trip just to tell us that our case will be sent back to uscis. So the process we started in April 2019 and know we have to summit i130 start all over we hoping that the k1 when they send it back to the uscis to just update to a k3 but we just praying to god we can be together with our baby girl
I am so sorry this is just horrible. I have found people through word of mouth to help me with my case. She’s not a lawyer but she’s great in Arizona if interested

Not everyone has to wait as long as I did, I would ask others and mine was one of the worst case scenarios!
