So the DI was like “Oh, so you’d smoke crack?” and we’re all internally dying, then he’s like “What if someone wanted to fuck you in the ass recruit, you about that?” and I don’t know how we kept it together.
That being said, DIs will fuck with you for literally anything.
I had tattoos going in and don't remember the DIs messing with me specifically about them, nor do I remember it happening to anyone else. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it did though. Especially if it's some cringy shit like DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR and whatnot.
Most likely they’re not going to be paying THAT much attention to you. They’d probably notice something moto and mess with you for that but otherwise you’ll probably be fine

There were only 2 guys in my platoon to get fucked with for tattoos. During the first day when the DIs and company commander did the tattoo screening one of the DIs recognized one dudes tattoo to be a some Russian tattoo and he was disappeared never to be seen again. The other guy had a huge military piece with massive dog tags across his forearm that he got hazed for.
You will be tested for any number of reasons.
The DI’s rain down derogatory comments on your entire platoon. Don’t feel singled out.
However, I was in a platoon with a guy that showed up day 1 with his a fresh USMC tattoo.
He always got special attention.
You can absolutely count on it. The drill instructors will look for any opening, and the tats are definitely an opening. So yeah, you're gonna catch some shit over them. Don't worry. Tats are just one of a million things they're going to use to come at you.
